Interviewer:
Guru-dev, considering the current situation in our country, you are performing this hom-yagya (fire ritual). What would you like to say regarding this?
Guru:
Well, as you can see, the Mahamrityunjaya Yagya is being performed today. The primary reason is that there is no other way out. We are performing these rituals repeatedly so that peace and well-being can return to the world. Currently, the world is filled with unrest. This country is filled with misfortune. To some extent, humans are responsible for this. People have lost their sense of right and wrong—it's all about who can kill whom or who can exploit whom.
Guru:
The lockdown is nearing its end now, but no one is following the rules anymore. People are just out and about. My only point is that if such rituals were performed in every place, in every temple, then I believe this unrest and these diseases would subside. That is why we are performing this daily for world peace.
Guru:
In the past, we didn't have so many doctors and scientists, yet our ancestors performed these rituals, and people found healing. If every Hindu temple performed this every day, peace would return to this country. There is no other way.
Guru:
The world needs to be saved. Every moment, a new wave of disaster arrives. First, we saw the Amphan cyclone. Now, the locusts (Pongopal) have arrived to destroy the crops. Then there are reports of a crack in the ocean floor, suggesting a massive earthquake is coming. More storms are predicted, and the drums of war are beating. All these crises have surrounded us at once. India is truly distressed; we don't know what will happen next.
Interviewer:
Guru-dev, is this the collective manifestation of the karma of the entire human race?
Guru:
Of course. What else could it be but the fruits of human karma? When the "ruler" is sinful, the kingdom is destroyed. Where is the sacred relationship between the ruler and the subjects? The rule should be that the leader looks after the people, and the people respect the leader. But today, neither the leaders nor the people are on the right path. There is no law, no order, no discipline. It's just chaos. Like the waves of the ocean, one crisis after another hits us. Humans must suffer the consequences of their actions.
Interviewer:
You previously mentioned that science has sought refuge in spirituality, but spirituality never had to seek refuge in science.
Guru:
You can see that clearly now. In this vast world, there are so many labs, so many scientists, and so many doctors, yet they cannot catch this one "small thing" (the virus). They don't truly know where it came from or what it is. They talk about vaccines and medicines, but why is it taking so long? This is why they must turn to spirituality.
Guru:
A few days ago, I saw a picture of President Trump performing a ritual with a Hindu priest. He lit a lamp (diya) and said that temples and mosques should be opened. Even America is severely affected. Now, they are seeing swarms of crows in the sky like never before. Even Trump is saying that God is the only hope. People are writing to me saying, "Guru-dev, you said this a long time ago, and now Trump is saying it." It's true—there is no other way but to call upon God.
Guru:
But temples shouldn't just be for making money. Many temples today are just businesses. They focus on how much donation (pronami) they can get to put in the bank. If they performed regular rituals instead, this unrest and pandemic wouldn't persist. But people aren't doing that. My message is: make money if you must, but do something for the welfare of humanity. Perform the hom-yagya as it was done in the Vedic times. The Vedas have the mantras to remove diseases and sufferings, but people have abandoned them.
Interviewer:
Guru-dev, China has recently announced that another "biological virus" is emerging, which is much more powerful than the Coronavirus. You have spoken about this "biological warfare" before.
Guru:
I have said it many times. This is biological warfare. It's a test of who can survive. It's going to be very difficult for humanity. If something even bigger than Corona comes, there will be no stability.
Guru:
I saw a scene recently at a railway station—a woman was lying dead on the platform, and her small child was pulling at her cloth, trying to wake her up. The child didn't understand that the mother was gone. And yet, there was no one to step forward, rescue the child, or take care of the body. Humans have become "un-human." When we reach this stage, what else can we expect but disaster? Let the disasters come so that humans finally understand the weight of their karma.
Guru:
That is why we are doing this. If every temple performed these rituals for just an hour or two, God—who is currently displeased—would help us survive. Survival is the biggest challenge right now.
Interviewer:
Friends, you heard Guru-dev. He said it before, and he is saying it again: this biological war is not just against individuals, but against all of human civilization. He has repeatedly warned us that we must seek refuge in spirituality. We must call upon God with a pure heart. This is the only way to find a path out of this crisis.

Open the Vedas and look—there is nothing that isn't addressed there for the benefit of mankind. There are mantras for every ailment. But as Guru-dev said, the focus has shifted to money. Temples where these spiritual works aren't done are "dead" temples.
