Host: Salutations to the venerable secret practitioner, Shri Shri Shama Khapa. We begin our program from Shantikunj by offering our respects to Guru Dev Shama Khapa. Let us all listen to the invaluable words of the Guru.
Disciple: Guru Dev, my respects to you.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: Blessings to you. Speak.
Disciple: During the peak of the Corona pandemic, you offered many prayers and performed yagyas for the well-being of the people here at Shantikunj. At that time, you mentioned something from a Hadith regarding a specific star.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: Yes, the Suraiya star (Pleiades).
Disciple: Yes, you said that when this star rises, the pandemic would subside. Many people are curious to know more about this.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: Look, I have combined what the Hadith says with our own spiritual observations. I have realized that this disease will not last. What is happening now is mostly propaganda. I haven't seen a single person with Corona here for several days. In my view, 90% of Corona is gone. What remains is a business—Corona has become a major business venture now. I haven't seen any new cases in the last five or six days. It will fade away gradually.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: That star is rising. If you look at the eastern sky around 12:00 or 12:30 at night, you will see a bright, sparkling star. Beside it is another smaller star; that is the Suraiya star. The intense heat you feel now is its influence. As the star rises, the heat increases. It is said the heat will become so intense that people won't be able to step outside. Despite the clouds and wind, the heat persists—this is its effect.
Disciple: Guru Dev, during the pandemic, you stayed dedicated to the welfare of the people without worrying about your own health. You mentioned that once the Suraiya star appears, we would find relief.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: Exactly. I speak after much contemplation because people watch these videos on YouTube; I don't make reckless comments. The "backbone" of Corona has been broken. As I said, 90% of it is gone. What you see now in the news—"one case here, one case there"—is mostly hype. The worst is over. I've seen the star in the night sky. Its presence brings extreme heat. Scientific studies also suggest that the virus cannot survive in such high heat.
Disciple: Guru Dev, have we adopted certain hygiene habits like social distancing, wearing masks, and frequent handwashing as a permanent part of our lives now? These were already common in developed Western countries. Has Corona taught us this lesson?
Guru Shyama Khyapa: Absolutely. Prime Minister Modi also said that if we can maintain these habits, it will lead to great progress. Cleanliness and hygiene are essential.
Disciple: You also mentioned metaphorically, "First came Kakrol (Teasle Gourd), now comes Kathal (Jackfruit)," referring to a sequence of disasters.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: Yes, look at what is happening. In Uttarakhand, massive forest fires are raging in the land of Lord Shiva. Then fires broke out at Pashupatinath and the Tarapith temple complex. What does this signify? A greater disaster is coming. We have already had several earthquakes recently, like the one in Guwahati. A major earthquake is looming; I can't say exactly where, but it will happen.
Disciple: If we talk about Cyclone Amphan, it completely devastated the lives of people in several districts of West Bengal. People hadn't even recovered from Cyclone Aila, and then Amphan hit.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: Natural disasters occur every few years. You could call this a "famine" of sorts. There is an outcry everywhere. People are panicking, rushing to stock up on groceries, fearing they won't have food. This greed and panic have been warned against repeatedly.
Disciple: Regarding Amphan, people's livelihoods are shattered. And now there are predictions of more cyclones coming one after another.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: When trouble comes to the world, it comes from all sides. Look at the locust attacks—that is a huge disaster. Then the forest fires. According to our spiritual calculations, God has placed "Transformers"—spiritual practitioners or Sadhus—in every area to maintain balance. People often ask why good people die early. The reason is that if God doesn't remove the saintly people first, He cannot bring about a total transformation or "Pralaya" (apocalypse) in that region. These Sadhus act as shields.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: I have my area, others have theirs in Kolkata or elsewhere. Some are known, some are hidden. Once the good souls are removed, the destruction of the wicked begins. The few good people left are the only reason the world is still spinning.
Disciple: But isn't God all-powerful and merciful?
Guru Shyama Khyapa: You are missing a point. The messengers God has sent to various places hold divine power. The current disaster is man-made. It is born of human greed and bottomless desires. Man has no sense of "sacrifice" anymore; it's all "give me, give me." God's patience has a limit. He is now saying, "I am bringing the destruction; do not speak, just watch." Even divine messengers remain silent when the time for justice comes. Everyone is obsessed with money—looting, cheating, anything for profit.
Disciple: Guru Dev, I want to ask about education. Schools and colleges have been closed for a long time. Students are deprived of learning. Although the government is trying online classes, it isn't practical for the rural people of West Bengal.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: Then they should just close the schools permanently and do everything online! This "online" thing doesn't work for everyone. Education is a right, but there's no chance of it returning to normal until this "Pralaya" (cleansing) is complete. They keep extending the closures. They give "Midday Meals," but that isn't education—that's just a sympathy gesture.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: Our entire generation is being ruined. But then again, the generation was already being ruined since the time of the previous (CPM) government. The current policy seems to be: "Don't teach them anything, just keep them fed and quiet."
Disciple: You have spoken very candidly, and your words reflect what many people are feeling in their hearts.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: I am telling you, you haven't seen anything yet. More disasters are coming. If humanity doesn't change its nature, we are heading toward a great catastrophe. Even the Sadhus won't be able to save you then. There is a saying: "The sins of the King destroy the Kingdom." If the leadership isn't right, the people suffer. Nowadays, it's all about exploitation. Even during this crisis, I heard that people are being charged 50 or 100 rupees just to get their electricity lines reconnected after the storm. They are charging the poor while they are dying. This is the level of greed. Soon, people will be so desperate for money that they will sell their own homes and families.
Disciple: Friends, you were listening to the secret practitioner Shama Khapa. His words, though harsh, come from his long years of spiritual practice and deep realization. He provides us with a direction for the future.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: My only message is: Be honest. If you choose the path of dishonesty, you will suffer.
