Interviewer: Gurudev, Pranam (Greetings).
Gurudev: Pranam, Baba. Speak.
Interviewer: I wanted to ask about the Maha Kumbh. It has started and is now nearing its end. Only one royal bath (Shahi Snan) is left on the 26th. Within this period, many events have occurred consecutively.
Gurudev: Indeed. Another event is yet to happen; it hasn't occurred yet, but it will.
Interviewer: Some are calling this the "Kumbh of Death" (Mrityu Kumbh) or something similar...
Gurudev: No, it cannot be called the Kumbh of Death. Death never occurs at the Kumbh. If someone passes away there for any reason, they achieve eternal liberation (Akshaya Moksha). They are not reborn. Anyone who dies at the Kumbh—be it from a heart attack or any other ailment—attains a state where rebirth is no longer a certainty.
Gurudev: I once told people, "Reenam kritva ghritam pibet" (Drink ghee even if you have to borrow money). Similarly, I say, go to the Kumbh even if you have to borrow money. However, there is a problem. The great sages and saints, especially the Nagas, are very distressed. They say that householders (Grihas) are bathing before them. This is not right. Householders should not bathe before the sadhus. First, the sadhus should bathe.
Gurudev: What great merit have you earned? Sitting at home, you've likely only inconvenienced others or caused harm. How are you entitled to bathe first? You aren't. Many people have asked me, "Gurudev, I am on my period, can I still go?" I said, "Go! Because without people like you, the Kumbh would become pure. Go and make it impure."
Gurudev: The Kumbh has already become tainted. We say that if an eclipse ever hits the moon, it becomes a "Damaged Moon" (Nashta Chandra). On such days, no auspicious work should be done. A fire broke out at the Kumbh. Now, all the sadhus are seen lighting fires with their hands—they don't even need matches. Could they not have extinguished the fire? Why didn't they? Four fires broke out one after another, and everything was destroyed.
Gurudev: It is an unlucky Kumbh. This planetary alignment (Yoga) that has occurred after 144 years is a terrifyingly bad one. The YouTube channels are calling it a "great alignment," but they have misled everyone. They haven't looked back to see that this is not a good alignment. Because of the planetary positions on the 24th, I can say with certainty that a war will break out. No one can stop it.
Gurudev: I predicted this six months to a year ago—that the planetary positions would lead to war. It is starting; war is happening. Right now, it's mostly a war of words, but it will escalate into the field of action. The Bhavishya Malika (Prophecy Book) says there will be seven days of darkness; the sun will not rise.
Gurudev: From this, we can understand that there are so many nuclear weapons that if four or five are detonated, the sun will be obscured for seven days. The sunlight will not be able to penetrate the carbon dioxide. I mentioned this a long time ago. If you look closely at the planetary positions, they are the same as they were before the Kurukshetra War in the Mahabharata. Today, the exact same positions have returned. Therefore, we can say comfortably that a war is likely. Any good astrologer would agree.
Gurudev: This cannot be prevented. It is progressing. Right now, a very bad alignment called the "Pishach Yoga" (Demonic Alignment) is underway. Nothing good comes from this. This Kumbh was not good, and another disaster will happen here. Four fires have already occurred. Saints like Hariharananda have left; there are no sadhus left there now. They won't stay for that final bath; they are all leaving gradually. They have realized what a "damaged" Kumbh this is.
Gurudev: I am not calling it the "Kumbh of Death," but it is definitely a "Damaged Kumbh." People have died. We generally say that if people die at a pilgrimage site, it loses its status as a pilgrimage. It has to be purified through rituals and sacrifices before it can be used again.
Interviewer: Can I say—as you mentioned in a previous video—what business do householders have at the Kumbh? The sages and saints should bathe; it's for them. So, did this happen because householders went to bathe?
Gurudev: Yes, it happened exactly because of that. All those who died were householders. Not a single sadhu or saint died. Whether you look at the Delhi station or elsewhere, it was the householders who died. If a sadhu dies, it is far more catastrophic. It takes a long time to purify the Kumbh after that; many mantras, sacrifices, and rituals are required.
Gurudev: These were ordinary people who died. I don't know if they will attain eternal heaven. We know that if someone dies at the Kumbh from a heart attack or a natural ailment, we pray for their eternal heaven. But many died in stampedes or from injuries.
Interviewer: You mentioned three types of causes: physical (Bhautik), metaphysical (Adhibhautik), and divine (Daivik). Was this due to divine causes?
Gurudev: Absolutely. The gods are angry. These deaths happened because of a divine curse. Their funeral offerings (Pinda) won't even be accepted in Gaya; they must be taken to Pushkar because these were unnatural deaths (Apghat Mrityu). Since it was due to stampedes and the pressure of the crowd, it wasn't a "normal" death. Had it been a natural death, they would have attained heaven or liberation.
Gurudev: When we perform funeral rites, we priests say, "Akshaya Swarga Kamnaya" (Desiring eternal heaven). We pray for eternal heaven for those who pass away at the Kumbh. Everyone thinks that by taking this bath, they will attain liberation (Moksha), but liberation is not that easy. It doesn't suit householders. The consequences for the householders who went there are terrible, and it will only get worse. I am telling you, it will increase.
Interviewer: As mentioned in the Bhavishya Malika, something was supposed to happen during the Rath Yatra, and some of it has happened while some is pending. Was there anything specific about the Kumbh in the prophecies?
Gurudev: No, the media hyped up the Kumbh—saying it's happening after 144 years, it will be magnificent, bathing will grant eternal heaven. But those who died in stampedes or from injuries... we call that a tainted death.
Gurudev: I feel very bad. I hope such a Kumbh never comes again. This wasn't a Yoga (Union); it was a Viyoga (Separation). I say again, no householder should go to the Kumbh. Householders live in homes and commit all sorts of sins. Sadhus and saints don't do that; they spend their time in prayer and meditation. All the sins are with the householders, and they carried that sin to the Kumbh.
Gurudev: Everyone is calling me, from children to adults, asking "Can we go to the Kumbh?" I tell them, "Go!" But I can't make people understand that they shouldn't go because they are sinners. Those who live a worldly life are sinners. You have no business at the Kumbh. The sadhus are there to pray for our well-being. The Kumbh is for them, not for ordinary householders. I couldn't make people understand this, but they will realize it in the future.
Gurudev: When a great destruction (Mahapralay) occurs, they will realize the Kumbh wasn't for householders. A sadhu once told me, "Look, these householders bathed and left, and then we bathed. The water we bathed in was already used by them." This is chaos and ignorance. First, the sadhus should bathe and leave, and then you should use that water. That way, the merit earned by the sadhus through their penance would benefit you. You are supposed to follow them.
Gurudev: You have to "awaken" the water of the Kumbh, and only they can do it. If you bathe before they have awakened the water, then what has happened will continue to happen. One bath is left; watch, more events will occur.
Interviewer: I have heard Gurudev's words. For those who are still planning to go, please think about it.
Gurudev: There are no sadhus left there now. And the water has become so toxic that bathing in it makes death inevitable. Finish your funeral arrangements (Shraddha) at home before you leave for the Kumbh bath. That way, you will truly attain "eternal heaven."
Interviewer: Gurudev is very worried and disturbed by this. We will end it here. May you all stay healthy and well. Pranam, Gurudev.
Gurudev: Pranam.
