INTERVIEWER:
Gurudev, in this auspicious evening hour, I offer my respects to you as we begin today's episode.
GURUDEV:
Yes, please proceed.
INTERVIEWER:
Gurudev, as we know, you are not just a spiritual guide for India, but for the entire world. In that light, we received a comment from someone in Bangladesh. They mentioned that you seem to focus primarily on India and asked if you ever think about them. They expressed that they are your followers from afar and sought your blessings. What would you like to say to them?
GURUDEV:
Ask the person who commented this: when the sun rises, does it give a different light to Bangladesh, a different light to West Bengal, and another to Gujarat? When the sun shines, its light spreads everywhere. As a spiritual guide, our words and blessings are for everyone.
GURUDEV:
Actually, many people from Bangladesh call me in the evening, and I respond to each of them. Let me share something that happened just three days ago. Someone called regarding a marriage. They said they couldn't find an auspicious time (Lagna) and their local priests were unsure. I suggested they conduct the wedding during Gadhuli Lagna (twilight). When the local priests heard my suggestion, they were surprised and agreed that it was a perfect choice. I even joked with the caller, asking what they would feed me since I helped finalize the wedding!
GURUDEV:
There is a follower named Polash in Dhaka who loves me dearly and comments often. I don't always have everyone's phone number, but whenever they reach out, I speak with them. There are many followers in Dhaka—Fatima, for instance, who is a devout Muslim and has great respect for me. There are many others.
INTERVIEWER:
There is also someone named 'Imon 360.'
GURUDEV:
Yes. I do not exclude anyone. Like I said, the sun's light is universal. As spiritual guides, we don't speak for just one group; we are here for everyone. Whoever comes with faith and devotion receives the blessing. It's all about faith.
GURUDEV:
I see everyone across the globe the same way—whether they are from India, Canada, America, France, Germany, or Dubai. Just yesterday, a Bangladeshi person called from Dubai seeking help for a crisis. I cannot differentiate between people.
INTERVIEWER:
Exactly. For our viewers in Bangladesh, please understand that Gurudev's blessings are universal. Just as the sun provides light to all, his grace extends to everyone, regardless of borders.
GURUDEV:
Yes, everyone is included. Many people from Bangladesh call me and show immense love and devotion. So, the idea that I don't think about Bangladesh is a misconception. Whether it's Bangladesh or India, the spiritual light is the same. I pray to the Mother for the well-being of everyone in the world.
INTERVIEWER:
Gurudev, a follower named Kamrun Nessa and several others often comment. They specifically mentioned that the COVID-19 situation has worsened in Bangladesh recently and they are seeking your blessings for protection.
GURUDEV:
I receive many calls regarding COVID. People call saying they are infected or that they have a surgery scheduled the next morning, asking for blessings. I speak with them to give them courage and strength. They find peace in knowing their Guru is with them.
GURUDEV:
I am well-known in Bangladesh; many people there follow my episodes. I offer my full blessings to them. It's not just about Bangladesh—it's about the whole world. During our Homa and Yagya (rituals), we pray for world peace and human welfare.
INTERVIEWER:
Within "World Peace," everything and everyone is included.
GURUDEV:
Precisely. Human welfare is our purpose. You must realize that many great spiritual figures have roots in Bangladesh. Think of Ram Thakur, the lineage of Sri Guru Ashram, Anukul Chandra, Ma Anandamayi—so many saints were born there. Bangladesh is a land of saints (Pitosthan).
GURUDEV:
Whether we talk about East Bengal or West Bengal, many "Sidhopurush" (enlightened beings) were born in places like Bashberia and Brahmanbaria. Think of Bhal Brahmachari and so many great artists and singers. Many more great souls were born in East Bengal than in West Bengal. I take great pride in that land because of the many spiritual giants it has produced. The soil there is very fertile for spirituality.
INTERVIEWER:
To our viewers, please do not let borders create a division in your hearts. Gurudev's blessings are always with you.
GURUDEV:
Exactly. Why would I exclude anyone? Please do not harbor such thoughts. Everyone will receive grace. The sun and the moon do not discriminate, and neither do I. People come to me from all over—just the day before yesterday, someone came from Tripura by plane specifically for Diksha (initiation) and left today. I have people coming from America, Canada, and Australia. I see everyone with the same eye.
INTERVIEWER:
Gurudev, people often ask for your contact number.
GURUDEV:
If I gave out my number to everyone, it would be difficult to manage. I have to balance speaking with people and performing my spiritual duties. Every day, about a hundred people visit the Ashram. Even from Bangladesh, people find ways to visit me, often staying with friends nearby just to meet me. My heart is with everyone.
INTERVIEWER:
On that note, we offer our respects to the Divine Mother and to you, Gurudev. We conclude today's episode here.
GURUDEV:
Blessings to all.
