Kaushik: Pranam, Gurudev. Pranam, Pradip-da. Today, Pradip-da is with us, sitting beside Gurudev. Today, they will reveal a great mystery that was uncovered through a tiny clue. Over to you, Pradip-da.
Pradip-da: Thank you, Kaushik. Pranam, Gurudev. Kaushik mentioned a clue; if we follow that thread, our viewers will learn about a wonderful event today. A doctor from Chhattisgarh—a bone specialist—used to visit this place many years ago.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: But why he came, I didn't know then. To tell the truth, I had no idea.
Pradip-da: We only found out much later. We have been in contact for about a year now, but he had been coming here long before that. He was a disciple of a great Guru. While he was with his Guru, for some reason, that Guru suddenly told him, "Go to West Bengal. There you will find someone who smokes black cigarettes and wears white clothes. Find him; I cannot tell you exactly where he is. He resides in some cremation ground in West Bengal. You won't be able to recognize him as a saint just by looking at him."
Guru Shyama Khyapa: His Guru told him, "Go there." The doctor was practicing Saiva Sadhana at the time. When his practice ended, his Guru ordered, "Go to West Bengal. I don't know which cremation ground he is in, but he wears white clothes. You won't be able to easily identify him, but I'll give you one clue: he smokes black cigarettes. Find him."
Guru Shyama Khyapa: He visited many places but couldn't find me because I was often in Kamakhya, Benaras, or Tarapith. Eventually, one day, he suddenly discovered me here and said, "I have found him." I didn't understand at first. He never told me about his Guru, Gupteswar Nath, or that he had been ordered to find me. He just said, "Today I have received what was meant for me." He stayed here for about fifteen days and practiced Sadhana in Tarapith.
Pradip-da: He took initiation from you.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: He took initiation later. I told him, "Your Saiva practice is complete; now you must focus on Matri Sadhana." His Guru had told him he would find me in a cremation ground. He reportedly visited many such grounds and came to Rajpur several times before finally spotting me. He recognized me simply by the black cigarette. He later admitted that he saw no outward signs of sainthood in me.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: He told me, "I am acting on my Guru's instructions. He told me to take initiation from you and perform Homa here." He is very skilled in Homa and Yagna. He actually lives in a cremation ground near his home in Chhattisgarh. I didn't take it too seriously at first—thousands of people come from all over India and the world. I just took it casually.
Pradip-da: We recently obtained a photo of his Guru. He was a very high-level practitioner. Gurudev, my question is: you never met Gupteswar Nath, so how did he identify you?
Guru Shyama Khyapa: I can't say. Many such incidents have happened where Gurus from far away send their disciples to me, saying, "I have done what I could; he will do the rest." Many saints in the Himalayas know me. They are practicing in caves right now, yet they know me. How? I cannot say.
Pradip-da: You won't say because it is a secret, and your name is Gupta Sadhak (Secret Saint). We noticed the doctor's first Guru also has "Gupta" in his name. Please tell our viewers about Gupteswar Nath.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: You tell them. What can I say?
Pradip-da: His life story is remarkable. His mother died when he was eight, and his father brought him to Kashi to work as a priest. At eleven, his father also died.
Kaushik: Interestingly, his parents died on the same calendar date, though in different years. After their passing, he dreamt of them together, which inspired him to enter the spiritual world.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: He practiced in the Himalayas for fifty years. Based on his birth year of 1870, he would be around 151 years old now. He received the title of 'Paramhansa' at the Kumbh Mela. He only ever leaves his retreat for the Kumbh Mela at Prayagraj; he goes nowhere else.
Pradip-da: His name in his earlier life was Pratik Upadhyay. He is a great Yogi. For twenty years, he has not consumed food or water, living only on air (Pauhari). Most amazingly, he is said to be able to walk on air and water.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: He is silent (Mauni) and rarely speaks to anyone. In his photos, you can see he is just skin and bones, yet he continues his practice, meditating on the Formless God (Nirakar Brahma). It is my good fortune that such great saints know me. We have a "link."
Pradip-da: A secret link.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: It is not to be discussed, but we communicate. He has even spoken with Babaji Maharaj—the Guru of Shyama Charan Lahiri—who is said to be 2,500 years old. His own Guru was Dronagiri. These yogis avoid all publicity; they even turn away the press.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: The doctor, Angshuman Roychowdhury, met him in Uttarkashi. By his Guru's order, he came to the Rajpur cremation ground to find me. He told me, "You can't hide; the 'naked' saints in the mountains all know you."
Guru Shyama Khyapa: I consider myself an ordinary person. I sit here, drink tea, smoke cigarettes, and help people who are in trouble. No one knows my true movements because I move at night. We communicate through an "ether wave," much like a telephone but spiritual. If a calamity is coming to Earth, we know in advance. Many high-ranking people in defense are my disciples and keep me informed, but most of our work happens through the ether. People are sent to me from Gujarat, Assam, and Tripura by their own Gurus. To most, I'm just a man in white clothes smoking a cigarette.
Pradip-da: You say you are ordinary, but the fact that Himalayan sages send their disciples to you proves otherwise.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: Let that be. We shouldn't talk about such things.
Kaushik: So, friends, you have heard about the mysterious connection between these secret saints and how a simple clue like a black cigarette led to a great discovery. We have shown the photo of Gupteswar Nath throughout this video. Look closely and see if you find a connection. Pranam, Gurudev. Pranam, Pradip-da.
