In today's episode, we want to discuss a very important topic that is currently causing a stir across India: Hindutva. It seems that in various places, this concept is being explained in a distorted or malicious way. We would like to hear your thoughts on this.
Guru:
Well, Ghatak Babu, first of all, ours is a land of spirituality. There is no doubt about that, and people should not have any doubts. Now, what does Hindutva mean? It means having faith in your religionāa profound belief. People think this country is in decline, that politics is failing, but I say to them: a day will come when the whole world will look toward India. Not just for spirituality, but for the good things that contribute to nation-building.
If one is not a believer in religion, then their concept of Hindutva is meaningless. I condemn such a view. Vivekananda said one must meditate and believe in religion. Lean towards spirituality and lean towards God; only then can you understand what it means to be a Hindu. You can only call yourself a Hindu if you have faith in God and perform aradhana (devotion). If one can do this, they are a Hindu. Sadhana (practice) is the most important thingāmeditation and concentration.
Guru:
There are some who don't understand the difference between a Hindu, a Muslim, or a Christian; they lack depth and knowledge. They think India is sinking, but they are wrong. India will rise to such a height in spirituality, and not just that, but economically and in terms of leadership as well. The whole world will look to our spirituality with pride.
Guru:
Regarding leadership, we must admit there is a lack of it today. I see no real commentary on the true essence of Hindutva. Vivekananda said that when you become a believer and practice devotion, only then are you a Hindu.
Look at our current leadersāpeople like Mr. Modi or Mamata Diāthey are not providing the right kind of leadership. To lead, one must first be humble. One must be a 'Das'āa servant or a worker for the people. If you cannot do that, you don't need to lead. We lack leaders like Vivekananda or Subhas Chandra Bose, who were honest. You cannot lead with dishonesty. The educated society is frustrated; they worry about the country's direction. Our trust in leadership has eroded because many are dishonest. They have developed an ego. A leader should work like a servant for the people, but today, it is the opposite; they expect the people to be their servants.

Exactly, they should be selfless and possess immense patience.
Guru:
Yes, only then will people respect you. Otherwise, they will come and go, and no one will remember them. Today, who remembers the leadership of the past? People want to forget them.
Now, about Hindutva being portrayed as being against other religionsāthis is the fault of the leadership. They are creating divisions. But Muslims, Christians, and others have always been here. 'Saka, Huna, Mughal, Pathanāall became one in this body.' They all came and contributed. We have always been believers in God. Even the West is now looking towards the East; they are reading the Gita and our scriptures. They are realizing there is no need for discrimination.
Guru:
Some people are instigating Hindus and Muslims against each other. In a country of 130 crore people, the soil is gold. Great sages were born here, and they never spoke of Hindutva in a divisive way. Think of Lokenath Brahmachari or the great Sufi saints; they never said "I am Muslim" or "I am Hindu" in a way that divided people.
It is the uneducatedāor rather, those with bad educationāwho are shouting about Hindutva or Muslim-fundamentalism. The only reason for this is the "vote-bank." They think if they divide people, they will win. This is wrong. A day will come when people will despise this approach.
Guru:
India has not fallen. When spirituality awakens, the West will look to us because they are tired of materialism. We are the followers of renunciation (Tyaga). Our current leadership lacks this. They are filled with greed, anger, and ego. They say one thing but do another. It's a narrow political conspiracy.
Hindus will remain, and they will be believers who practice meditation and concentration. The eternal, liberal form of religion is what is missing today. On YouTube and TV, you hear Hindus and Muslims giving speeches, but there is no solution, only the urge for votes.
Guru:
Vivekananda said the West would eventually look to the East to see how advanced we are. They are trying to follow the East now because they see that pure materialism is harming their society and their children.
Ours is a land of spirituality. I say with confidence that the West will bow to the East. Our Vedas, Upanishads, and scriptures will survive. Those in power today only care about the next five years, but this cannot last forever. We are at the edge.
Guru:
If you believe in your religion and practice meditation, you can say with pride, "I am a Hindu."

Friends, you heard from Gurudev what true Hindutva means. Sanatan Hindu Dharma will once again stand as an example to the world.
Guru:
It will take the highest seat in the world assembly. It will be great in religion and great in work. The sun will rise again in the East. Even today, the Himalayas stand as a sentinel. The Ganga, Godavari, and Brahmaputra still flow with nectar. Where else in the world will you find this? We have the Taj Mahal, the Qutub Minarāthe architecture is still there. They ruled and they also contributed.
My point is simple: the Sanatan Dharma was here, is here, and will remain. This "appeasement politics" cannot be tolerated. We are spiritual people. A day will come when the West will bow its head to the East. Our riversāGanga, Godavari, Narmada, Sindhu, Kaveriāall have great significance. When Hindutva truly awakens and people can say they are Hindu with a clear heart and through practice, that is when it will truly thrive.
