Devotee:
Pranam, Gurudev.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Pranam.
Devotee:
Whenever we do a live session or a video, there are many references to your older videos. People comment a lot. You see about 150 people every day who come to you with their pain and suffering; it seems endless.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
No, it never ends. People at home even tell me, "What is the need to see so many people?" My friends and the doctors I know who care for me—they all ask, "What is the need?" But there is a need. This is God's command. Nothing happens without His will. He sent me to this world to do good for people. I have been doing this for 40 years. People haven't just started knowing me today; they've known me for a long time. Now, with YouTube, it has increased significantly. It spreads by word of mouth. Someone just came from Bombay this morning and will be flying back this afternoon. He said, "I'll take the evening flight, just let me talk to you for a bit. It's my great luck that I met you."
Devotee:
For those who are going through sorrow and hardship, could you suggest something to help alleviate their suffering?
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
See, we can't "do" everything ourselves, but we suggest certain things. You could call them "Tuk-tak" or "Totka" (folk remedies). Sometimes they work wonders.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
For example, let's say in someone's horoscope, Jupiter (Guru) and the Sun (Ravi) are in the same house... actually, let me correct that—if Venus (Shukra) and the Sun (Ravi) are in the same house, we call it Daridra Yoga (the combination of poverty). This yoga is very harmful. The person will struggle for money throughout their life and live in hardship.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
People ask how to break this. While I don't give "prescriptions" in that way, there are things I know that work. I tell them: Buy some jaggery (cane sugar). Find a place where there are large black ants—specifically the large black ones, not the red ones or any other kind. Feed them for a month or two. You will see money starting to flow into your hands. It might seem like a coincidence, but it happens. If someone is in extreme financial distress and has that Sun-Venus combination, we suggest this.
Devotee:
That is fascinating.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
This "yoga" is hard to break; almost no one can. But I know that if you buy jaggery and feed those black ants for a few months, your financial crisis will ease significantly. This is one remedy.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Another thing: the Sun (Ravi) is our controller. Sometimes the Sun is weak or unfavorable in a chart. In that case, I say: On a Sunday morning, before the sun rises—while it is still dark—purify yourself by bathing. Then go to a Wood Apple (Bel) tree. Harvest a piece of its root. Purify that root with Panchamrita (the five nectars).
Devotee:
What are the five nectars?
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Cow urine, ghee, curd, honey—that's four—and the fifth is Kushodak (water from Kush grass). Soak the root in these to purify it and wear it on a Sunday. You will see great results if your Sun is "down."
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Also, we suggest offering Arghya (water offering) to the Sun. In the morning, look toward the Sun and offer water from a copper vessel while chanting: "Japa Kusuma Sankaasham Kaashyapeyam Mahaadyutim, Tamorim Sarva Paapaghnam Pranatosmi Divaakaram..." If you do this for several days, it works. Use a hibiscus flower if you can. Stand and pour the water so it falls from a height. This helps those whose Sun is "debilitated." Many people cannot afford expensive Sunstones (Rubies), so I tell the poor to do this. Their Sun will not stay down; it will rise.
Devotee:
This is exactly what people ask for in the comments. We want to share these small tips through these videos.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
I have said many things before for the benefit of the people, and I will continue to do so.
Devotee:
If we say everything now, the video will get too long! We will bring more tips in the next video.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
I'll tell you more. I'll give you one more today: the "Crow's Twig." If you see a crow carrying a twig in its beak to build a nest and that twig falls in front of you, pick it up. If you keep and wear that, you will see results. There is no doubt about it. We call it Kaker Kuti. These are all ancient remedies and they are very good.
Devotee:
Thank you, Gurudev. We will share more in the next video.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Pranam.
