Narrator: This is a transcript of the video conversation between a local spiritual leader (Gurudeb Shyamakshapa Baba), a guest saint (Tara Baba), and an interviewer.
Interviewer: Gurudeb, my respects (Pranam).
Shyamakshapa Baba: My respects to you as well.
Interviewer: Viewers, as you can see, another Babaji is sitting beside Gurudeb today. I would like to start by asking him where he has come from and for an introduction for our audience.
Tara Baba: In our society, we have seen the ages of Satyug, Tretayug, and Dwapar. Now, in Kalyug, everyone is using "Tantra" to cause harm to others. I come from the place where Tantra originated: Kamakhya and Mayong in Assam. This is where it begins and ends. Guru Gorakhnath established the practice in two primary places: Bengal and Assam.
Tara Baba: My mission is to establish Sanatan Dharma and work for the welfare of humanity. We travel across the country performing Havan and Yagya (fire rituals) to establish peace. I have sought Baba's permission to perform a ritual for the Mother Goddess here. In earlier ages, cremation rituals followed strict spiritual laws, but today, everything has become digital and mechanical. Because of this, many souls are wandering without peace. To bring peace to these souls and for the welfare of society, I have requested to perform a Puja Yagya here.
Tara Baba: We aim to establish the world's oldest religion, Sanatan Dharma, which is currently being forgotten in this age of Kalyug.
Shyamakshapa Baba: We have been working for peace for three years now. We performed a Mahamrityunjaya Yagya for 1,000 days. People from all over have come, even from Japan-some "Samurai" came and said, "What you are doing is good."
Tara Baba: Yes, we perform these rituals everywhere for world peace and human welfare. We want people to move toward Sanatan Dharma because our religion is being overshadowed by others.
Tara Baba: People should abandon lust, anger, greed, and attachment to follow the path of Sanatan Dharma. In Satyug, Tretayug, and Dwapar, there was only Hindutva; all other religions emerged only in this age of Kalyug. We want our culture to remain strong for our future generations.
Interviewer: We know our Gurudeb as Sri Shyamakshapa Baba. By what name should we know you?
Tara Baba: I am known as Tara Baba of Kamakhya. If you search for "Tara Baba Kamakhya" on Google or YouTube, you will see my work and my mission to establish Sanatan Dharma. Many people have posted videos of my rituals.
Tara Baba: Our rituals usually happen at night because that is when the deities are most active. Here, the traditional methods of cremation aren't being followed-bodies are brought, burned, and people leave. This leaves the souls restless. I want to perform a ritual here to give them peace.
Shyamakshapa Baba: I was initially hesitant to give permission because I am often wary of who comes here and what they might do. But since you have come for the sake of Sanatan culture and world peace, I welcome you to proceed.
Interviewer: You have come here to the Rajpur cremation ground to meet Gurudeb. How did you find out about this place?
Tara Baba: Whenever we set out to establish Dharma, we receive "orders" from above. I didn't know about this cremation ground specifically, but Mother Bhagwati (the Goddess) gave me the order to perform a ritual at this location. I asked these boys-who are CRPF commandos-to show me the way.
Interviewer: Wait, you have CRPF commandos with you?
Tara Baba: Yes, they are serving me, and I am serving them. Their officers invited me to perform a Yagya at their homes, and while I was here, I felt the call to come to this cremation ground for peace.
Shyamakshapa Baba: Lately, many saints have been visiting me. Just 3 or 4 days ago, another saint came to pay respects to the Mother. It seems to be happening more frequently now.
Interviewer: What do you think is the reason for this sudden influx of saints?
Shyamakshapa Baba: It is the Mother's will. I just do my part. He asked to perform a Puja, and I gave him permission for the sake of human welfare.
Tara Baba: The world exists today because of saints. If saints were to leave, the world would face destruction. Look at the chaos happening globally-it is the rituals and prayers of saints that maintain some balance. I perform these rituals selflessly for the peace and intelligence of society.
Interviewer: Tara Baba, you seem to understand my Bengali very well even though you speak in Hindi.
Tara Baba: Yes, I understand everything you say in Bengali. I travel all over-Gujarat, Maharashtra, Bihar-I have seen the whole of India.
Shyamakshapa Baba: I have also traveled for 32 years, all over India and the Himalayas. Now, I have found this place at the cremation ground to sit and perform my duties.
Interviewer: Thank you. Viewers, you heard from Tara Baba and our Gurudeb. We wish everyone health and peace. My respects to you both.
