Gurudev:
Yes, there isn't much to say. I don't know what is happening at the Jagannath Temple. Yesterday, I heard that a hijra (transgender person) committed suicide by hanging inside the temple. We have heard of Shikhandi in the Gita. It was a person of that nature who took their own life yesterday inside the Jagannath Temple. Usually, there is constant bloodshed and conflict there; priests and servants are fighting among themselves, and this violence is happening right in front of Lord Jagannath.
Gurudev:
Recently, the main person in charge of the bhoga ghara (the room where sacred food offerings are prepared) was shot and killed. Slowly but surely, the sanctity of the Jagannath Temple is being destroyed. From what I have heard and known, it was predicted that such things would occur.
Gurudev:
These events suggest that the end of the Kali Yuga is nearly upon us. When such incidents happen at the Jagannath Temple, I firmly believe that the era's end has begun.
Host:
Gurudev, are you referring to the Kali age or the Kalki avatar?
Gurudev:
They are one and the same—the transition of the era and the arrival of the avatar. Some call it Kali, others call it Kalki. Regardless, the main point is that we are questioning if the Kalki avatar has already arrived. In my 76 years of life, I have never heard of such incidents. These are tragic events, and they indicate that Lord Jagannath will not remain in this world much longer. He has either already departed or is preparing to leave. Such things simply do not happen in His temple.
Gurudev:
Not long ago, a devotee suffered a heart attack and died while visiting Nirmalya. This is an ominous sign. Then, the head priest of the offering room was shot dead. And now, this suicide. These events are occurring one after another, and it is a sign of a great shift. I fear that when Jagannath leaves, the world will face a terrible destruction. A horrific period of ruin will begin; there is no doubt about it.
Gurudev:
The strikes will occur in various places. Badrinath will be affected, and the Badrinath temple will be destroyed. Tirupathinath, the abode of Lord Narayana, will also face destruction. We are seeing that secrets which were once hidden are being exposed. People are opening them up. The hidden treasures are being taken, and even the divine treasury is being looted by men.
Gurudev:
This fills me with fear. Is the Kalki avatar imminent? Such events are unprecedented at the Jagannath Temple. I have read that there are hidden chambers in the temple where celestial dancing and singing take place at night. These beings are never seen by people during the day. They perform for Jagannath at midnight, but even those traditions are disappearing.
Gurudev:
These signs make people like us wonder: Has the Kalki avatar already been born? His wrath will be devastating. When he strikes, the destruction will be terrifying. And he won't do it himself; he will compel people to destroy one another. He will use humanity as His instrument. This is what is truly frightening—what the future holds.
Gurudev:
As long as the Puri temple was stable, things were fine. While the main flag hasn't fallen, it has caught fire. The flag has been torn; this is a known truth. The flag is being replaced repeatedly. Furthermore, the internal strife among the temple servants is a significant sign. I believe Lord Jagannath is orchestrating this Himself. When He finally abandons the temple, the full extent of this transition will be clear. I am receiving these indications; it is coming very soon, and it is frightening.
