Host (Sujata Ray): Pranam Gurudev. Shri Shri Syamakhyapa-ye Namah. Greetings and well wishes for the welfare of all from Gurudev's ashram, Shantikunj. I am Sujata Ray, and I am beginning today's program.
Host (Sujata Ray): After a long period of secret spiritual practice (Sadhana), our Gurudev, at our request, is now spreading his message not just across Bengal or India, but across the entire world. Through his own YouTube channel, "Syamakhyapa," Gurudev shares insights from his spiritual life and dedicates himself to world peace by solving the sorrows and problems of the general public. Today, Gurudev is conducting a special discussion of this nature. I hope you all find it beneficial.
Devotee: Pranam, Gurudev.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: Pranam, Baba. Pranam. Tell me.
Devotee: Gurudev, I recently visited a temple. I have been suffering from pain in my right hand for several years. I have consulted many doctors and traditional healers, but nothing helped. There was a Guruji there; I told him about the pain in my hand. He told me, "Go home, your hand pain will be cured." For the last two or three days, I have felt that the pain in my hand is gone. Gurudev, what is this phenomenon?
Guru Shyama Khyapa: This is called "Rek" or "Reiki." Its origin is in Japan. The founder of this practice is Lord Buddha himself—our Avatar. It has spread particularly across Japan; in Japan, Reiki is practiced in almost every household.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: One of the primary reasons why the coronavirus could not severely affect Japan or cause high mortality is Reiki. However, not everyone can perform Reiki. Often, after learning just a little, people show a lot of arrogance, as if they have achieved something massive. This is where the ego interferes.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: For this practice, deep mental concentration (manosanjog) is vital. You must also have knowledge of human anatomy. You need an understanding of the Chakras. Furthermore, you must have knowledge regarding fairies (angels) and crystals. By calling upon these elements, you can perform Reiki.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: Reiki is actually performed on one's own body. Take the example of Shirdi Sai Baba. Someone might say, "Baba, I cannot walk because of my knees." He would ask for some water and, while applying that water to his own knees, he would massage them—effectively performing Reiki on himself. And yet, the other person's illness would be cured. There is vivid proof of this in the life of Shirdi Sai.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: Nowadays, people tend to jump to conclusions after doing very little. But this requires long-term perseverance and deep concentration. Many rules of conduct (Achar-Bichar) must be maintained. Since it originates from Buddha, one must follow the Eightfold Path (Ashtamarga) and various other disciplines.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: It is a complete science. The more you rub your hands and call upon the angels, the crystals, or awaken the Chakras, the more you will feel a sensation in your body. Your hair might stand on end, or your eyes and ears might tremble. Your body will vibrate. That is when you know the power has arrived. At that moment, the healing act should be performed. You don't just suddenly "do" Reiki.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: For those who are Siddha Purush (perfected beings), they don't need to do much; their call or touch is enough. But for those who are not, it is very difficult. It is better not to attempt it without proper guidance, as it can lead to danger.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: When your Kundalini is awakened, when your Muladhara and Swadhisthana chakras are awakened—these three points cause the "Third Eye" to open. Then, power enters your body. As you rub your hands, power is generated. Slowly, negative energies depart, and positive energy arrives.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: If people could truly do this, the coronavirus would be no issue at all. But people don't have the time. Some call it a scam or a business to make money. However, the truth is that if one lives purely and truthfully, Reiki works effectively. We do it too; it would be wrong to say we don't. We do it quite a lot.
Devotee: Gurudev, I want to ask one more thing. If someone wants to learn Reiki, what should they do?
Guru Shyama Khyapa: There isn't much to it. You have to go to a place where Reiki is taught and enroll. There are classes. You will have classes for at least six months. There are books to read. After reading and understanding, you must understand the person you are performing Reiki on. They will explain the anatomy to you—where everything is in the body and what protects what.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: Then you must awaken the Muladhara, the Kundalini, and the Swadhisthana. The Third Eye must open. Only then will you be fit to perform Reiki. Because by constantly rubbing your hands, a power is created. You are focusing on someone. If you think of a fairy or an angel, they will come. When they appear, you might not see them with your eyes, but you perform Reiki with them in mind. Slowly, the ailment will vanish.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: But if you do this without achieving Siddhai (perfection) and without a Guru, there is a hundred percent chance of danger. That is why those who wish to practice Reiki must first enroll, take six months of training, and read the necessary books. Then, they must find a Guru. Some even accept Lord Buddha as their Guru.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: This practice came from Tibet. Japan is famous for Reiki. As I said, that is why the coronavirus isn't there—because people practice it in every home. In our country, if you mention Reiki, people think it's cheating or a way to make money. But this is the actual truth. It happens even today, in this era.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: So, you must practice, and mental concentration is the most important part—meditation (Dhyan). You have to call upon an angel or a fairy. You can also call upon the Chakras or crystals.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: You will notice one thing—all sweet shops close after 10 PM. They wash and clean everything. They replace all the food with fresh items. Then, they light incense and sit there at midnight. You will see sweet shops open until late at night. They aren't selling anything, but they are open. They have a firm belief that fairies come to eat the sweets. If you are acquainted with a good sweet shop owner, he might not tell you openly, but he sets everything out. Between 11 PM and 12 AM, fairies come and eat sweets.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: During this time, if someone comes to buy sweets with a child, and the fairies like the child, they might "take" them (possess or influence them). I know of two or three such cases where fairies "caught" someone. They don't want to let go easily. The person's eyes go blank, and they laugh hysterically. The victim feels it, even if they can't see it. Everything goes blank, and they feel a beautiful woman laughing in front of them.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: Doctors can never cure this. I know at least two or three people—there is a girl in Behala who is appearing for her secondary exams now; she also fell into the clutches of a fairy. It is a big problem if you fall into their hands. They don't want to release children, especially if they are beautiful.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: This is why you see sweet shops being scrubbed clean after 10 PM. They remove the old sweets and put out fresh ones. They light incense and stay quiet. Neither the employees nor the owner will speak much. They stay inside with the firm belief that fairies come to eat sweets.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: So, in Reiki, fairies (angels) have a significant role. This is the reality. The benefits are enormous if someone can practice it correctly.
Devotee: Pranam, Gurudev.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: Pranam, Baba. Pranam.

Spiritual Insight

Guru Shyama Khyapa provides a comprehensive explanation of Reiki as a complete healing science originating from Lord Buddha and spreading through Japan. He emphasizes that authentic Reiki requires deep mental concentration, knowledge of human anatomy and chakras, and proper training under a Guru. The practice involves awakening the Kundalini and opening the Third Eye to channel healing energy. Drawing from the example of Shirdi Sai Baba, he demonstrates how perfected beings can heal others through their own bodies. The discussion also reveals the connection between Reiki practice and the spiritual realm of fairies and angels, cautioning that improper practice without guidance can be dangerous. This discourse illuminates Reiki not as mere technique, but as a profound spiritual discipline requiring dedication and purity of heart.
