Today is the auspicious day of the full moon (Purnima). We see that another Homa (fire ritual) is being performed here in the temple. We would like to know why these Homas are being conducted so frequently, and what is the significance of today's ritual?
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Actually, we already completed a large Homa this morning. Since today is Purnima, it is a very auspicious day. It is a combination of Thursday and the full moon, which is very significant for us. We have been performing these rituals since the morning.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Among those participating in the ritual right now are Dr. Sujit Kar and another physician, Dr. Nilanjan Bhattacharya, who is a doctor at Ruby Hospital. They are performing the Homa along with the others present here. We are conducting these rituals daily for the general well-being of humanity. We want people to be well.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
To ensure that people remain healthy and safe, we are doing everything possible through these Homas and Yajnas. In ancient times, this was the primary method used to overcome crises. We are following the Vedic path so that every human being, in every corner of the world, remains safe and healthy.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
We acknowledge that COVID-19 has taken many lives across the globe. However, we cannot simply sit back and wait. Now is the time to call upon the Almighty. Where science is failing, we are forced to realize that there is only one path left: God.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
It has been eight months since COVID-19 began, yet no definitive medicine has been discovered. The treatments currently being provided are based on general medical procedures. From this, we can understand that science has reached a limit here. Spirituality is something people are turning to today, and they will have to turn to it tomorrow as well.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Given the current circumstances and the days ahead, things look very fearsome. We are trying, through these fire rituals, to help in whatever way we can. Homas are likely happening in many places that we aren't even aware of; people may be doing them for personal reasons. But if we all come together and perform these rituals for world peace, I believe the Divine will have to intervene. God will provide us with liberation from this distress caused by COVID.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
That is why we are urging everyone: "Call upon God." There is no other way open to us. In my opinion, science has failed in this instance. Spirituality is slowly re-entering people's lives, and in a few days, you will see it entering every household — the realization that there is no refuge other than God.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Even the high-profile individuals who visit me — from lawyers and barristers to prominent doctors — they all say the same thing: science has failed. Science has nothing more to offer here. Now, our only path is the spiritual one, which was our foundation in ancient times before science was so advanced.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
It is quite surprising that while science has progressed so much — man is reaching the Moon, Mars, and Jupiter — it could not produce a medicine for this virus. This has caused many to lose their faith in science.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
At this moment, we don't need to worry about Mars or Jupiter; we need to think about the Earth. We need to think about the people of this world. To save the world, we must call upon God collectively. A day will soon come when man will find no other way but to turn to the Divine. We are performing these rituals for the welfare and the ultimate good of the entire world.
