Reporter:
Greetings, friends. As many of you know, our most respected Pagla Baba is continuing his journey toward his destination. Only Gurudev truly knows his exact location and condition; we cannot say for certain. Gurudev suggested that we should update the public on Pagla Baba's situation, so he will be speaking with us today. Greetings, Gurudev.
Gurudev:
Greetings.
Reporter:
Gurudev, we would like to know about Pagla Baba's current location and how he is doing.
Gurudev:
My disciples in Siliguri—about 50 to 100 of them—have taken him in. They are hosting him in the Naxalbari block. He is staying there for three days, and today is the final day. Following this, we expect instructions from the RSS office or Bharat Sevashram Sangha regarding his subsequent stops on the way to Kamakhya. We will receive a list of locations where he is to travel and stay each night.
Gurudev:
He experienced some financial shortages, but the disciples have taken care of those needs. I also instructed him to perform a Homa (sacred fire ritual) in either Naxalbari or Siliguri, and he has completed a large-scale ritual. He is being escorted along the road; I have seen images showing motorbikes following him and people guarding him. Members of the Bharat Sevashram Sangha are providing this escort. I am sharing photos so the public can see Pagla Baba's progress.
Gurudev:
It has also become clear that "Mother" [the Goddess] is personally aiding him on his path. A photo was sent to me, which I analyzed and enlarged. It shows a lady wearing a crown and anklets, dressed in black, clearing the way for him. It is a truly miraculous sight. I had previously warned the followers not to speak to or photograph anyone appearing in front of him, but they did so out of curiosity. I scolded them for it, but they were simply too excited to see who was leading the way. In the enlarged photo, you can clearly see she has a crown, anklets, a small stick, and a bag on her back. She appears on the road and then vanishes. I was quite startled when I saw the image myself.
Reporter:
Startled? But surely a mother would not harm her child?
Gurudev:
It is not about harm; it is my concern that if she is repeatedly photographed, she may stop escorting him. That is what I know. Regardless, what is done is done. He performed a major Homa at a Kali temple yesterday, and I will share those photos as well as images of him walking. He sets off for Kamakhya again tomorrow. It will likely take another month—until the end of January—to reach the destination. He has already covered a lot of ground.
Reporter:
It is Pagla Baba's good fortune that so many people are gathering to support and guard him on his journey.
Gurudev:
Yes, the RSS and Bharat Sevashram Sangha promised to escort him all the way to Kamakhya. In the photos, you can see them accompanying him on motorbikes or walking alongside him. The disciples in Siliguri have also been very helpful with financial arrangements.
Reporter:
So friends, you have heard about this supernatural event—how "Mother" is reportedly leading Pagla Baba on his journey.
Gurudev:
Indeed, with a crown and anklets.
Reporter:
We leave it to you to consider these events. Greetings to you, Gurudev.
Gurudev:
Greetings.
Spiritual Insight
This remarkable account documents a supernatural occurrence during Pagla Baba's walking pilgrimage to Kamakhya. Guru Shyama Khyapa analyzes photographs showing a mysterious lady wearing a crown and anklets, dressed in black, who appears to be clearing the path for Pagla Baba. The teaching emphasizes the protective presence of the Divine Mother on spiritual journeys, while also cautioning against photographing such manifestations out of respect. The story highlights the collaboration between spiritual practitioners and organized support networks (RSS, Bharat Sevashram Sangha) in facilitating this extraordinary pilgrimage.
