Gurudev, we received some very distressing news today. The flag (Dhwaja) atop the Jagannath Temple in Puri was broken and fell due to a storm. Given that we are already living in fear, what does this indicate for us?
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
The indications are not good. Not good at all. Jagannath’s flag falling repeatedly suggests that He is being defeated by nature. The one who controls nature is Himself showing us that nature is now displeased. He is indicating, \"Look, there is nothing you can do.\"
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
If the flag of a King falls or breaks—and we call it the Garuda Dhwaja—it is a terrifying omen. We must be very afraid of what is coming next. After all that has already happened, I believe something even more significant is approaching; otherwise, Jagannath’s flag would not break. It simply does not happen, son. I am already paralyzed with fear, and this news only deepens that anxiety. They are showing it repeatedly on the news in Puri—that Jagannath’s flag has fallen. To me, this means everything is now out of our hands. Something even more horrific is about to occur, something humans will not be able to control.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
I have spoken about Jagannath’s flag before when it fell. Today, I say it again: his flag fell yesterday in a minor storm. Some may offer petty excuses, saying it wasn't tied properly, but this time, the entire pole (Baansh) itself snapped in the middle. Therefore, no one can explain this away. Just wait—terrifying days are coming. Some kind of biological or natural force might be unleashed that will be devastating for humanity.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Nostradamus once said that in 2021, it would be doubtful if many humans remained on Earth. We are already overwhelmed by the COVID-19 pandemic, and now this event occurs. It is grave. When the flag falls, it means the Lord has been defeated by nature. The Lord of the Universe is showing us, \"My flag has fallen; there is no escape for you.\"
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
This is a very bad sign. This year, with Saturn as the King and Mars as the Minister, a \"blood-spilled conflict\" was already predicted. Now, this blow to Jagannath’s temple will be felt across the entire world. When the King’s flag falls, he is defeated, and a treaty or a surrender must follow. It is an extraordinary and ominous event.

Gurudev, we are already terrified of Corona, and the virus is constantly \"upgrading\" itself, as doctors say. At a time when India’s situation is a warning to the world, how much more devastating can this effect be?
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
It is coming. Understand that it is coming. The indication always precedes the event. Just as a crime happens before the police arrive, the flag has broken, and the event will follow. It is difficult to say exactly what, but something beyond human control is approaching.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
I have said before: you have seen the sprout, but you haven't seen the fruit yet. Our country is the land of the Gods, but the level of sin, injustice, and corruption that has taken place here—and is still happening—will not be tolerated by God. He is showing us His displeasure. As Krishna said in the Gita: \"Paritranaya Sadhunam\"—He will protect the virtuous, but He will strike down the evil-doers. This is the truth. To those who commit sins: beware. Sin will not spare even its own father. Stop the sinning and the lying, for a terrifying time is upon us.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
It worries me deeply. Jagannath has given an indication: \"Be ready.\" People might say I am trying to scare them, but this is a serious matter. When the flag falls, the Lord becomes \"inactive\" (Nishkriya). Nature is turning against us, and we do not know what tomorrow holds.

Gurudev, we come to you for some hope of salvation.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
What can I do? I have no power. Look, the flag has broken. I am trying; we are performing Homa (sacrificial fire rituals) even now for the welfare of humanity, but I see no escape. I thought things might settle by June, but this flag breaking suggests something even bigger is coming—something out of human control.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
For 800 to 1,000 years, the flag has flown atop that temple. Why should it break now? As sins increase, these omens appear. A Pralay (cataclysm) is coming, and it will be difficult to survive it. Namaskar. (The audio concludes with the sounds of ritual chanting and prayers)
