Pranam, Gurudev!
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Pranam.
Host:
Gurudev, your devotees who used to wake up in the morning and go to sleep at night watching your videos have a major complaint about why the videos are no longer being uploaded. They just want to see you once. After your illness, they haven't been able to interact with you like they used toâfor example, through live sessions. Now, those things don't happen as much.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
No, it doesn't happen anymore.
Host:
Many people come and tell us that if they could get even one video daily, it would be great. So, we are striving towards that effort again. It was necessary to share this good news with the audience. Gradually, we will try to increase the frequency and make the video uploads more regular. Today's question or topic is this: Gurudev, we saw that between the first and the second lockdown, in that one year, people's faith in spirituality or God increased significantly. You used to mention that young men were constantly coming to you to take initiation. However, an adverse effect or the exact opposite seems to have happened between the second lockdown and now. People seem to be moving away from God.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
No, God is moving away from people. God is moving away from people. Temples are closing one after another for no apparent reason. Whether COVID is still here or not, no one can truly say. There was a time when there was a lot of clamor about COVID. Now there is no COVID, yet look at how temples are closing one after another. People cannot enter the temples. Not everyone rushes into the Mother's room, but some go to present their grievances and share their pain with her.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Now, they can't even do that. The Mother's door is closed. Chaos has been created from all sides, right? Even so, some people still regularly go to Tarapith. They come to me and say they've been to Tarapith or are planning to go, asking for my blessings and help. Just yesterday, a boy was at Tarapith all night. He took my permission and sat in the Tarapith crematorium all night performing rituals and chanting.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Anyway, many people like him are coming. But the thing is, there is a lack somewhere. There's a gap left. I feel there's a void that isn't being expressed. Now people are hearing about this massive rail accident. This is not desirable. And look, the year started on a Saturdayâa harsh day. The year began with a Saturday.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Again, look at the tsunamis occurring. Japan and other places are affected. America is affected. Now, look at the volcanoes erupting in the ocean. The ultimate result or outcome of this is not yet clear. And no one has the power to control this. No one can control these volcanoes. Since it's happening in the ocean, there is a constant tsunami warningâevery single moment.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Every moment, reports claim that West Bengal will sink, Kolkata will sink, and so on. We are hearing various things. When 2021 passed, many people thought, "At last, '21 is over; we are saved." But 2022 is going to be even more fatal; something far more terrible is coming. It's better not to say it. People will be scared, and they shouldn't be. It might not happenâit's a prediction, after allâso it may or may not happen.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
That's why we aren't discussing 2022 much. People will have to witness things in 2022 that they have never seen in their lives. I don't want to speak too much about this. 2022 is here. Whatever needed to be said, I've said it superficially. But I don't want to be too explicit because 2022 holds events that aren't just significant; they will become the cause of immense human misery.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
People will witness thingsâor nature and God will show thingsâthat people won't be able to handle or bear at all. But that is what is in store for 2022. This span of time is ongoing; it started in 2019 and might continue for four or five years. It's just a cycle, nothing more. I am very worried about 2022. Not everything can be said, and I don't say everything. However, there are many startling things that people will witness and experience the consequences of. I am 100% sure of this. I don't want to say more. People will see many things. We only say what needs to be said. That is all.
Host:
Gurudev, regarding my question... Initially, you used to say, especially after the second lockdown, that there's no point in calling upon God. You said that while sitting in Shantikunj. Before that, you mentioned that if certain rituals were performed during the first lockdown, maybe the first wave could have been mitigated. After the second lockdown, you said there's no point in calling God. And now, reaching God is becoming increasingly difficult for people. Recently, we heard about an accident where people died in a stampede after a landslide.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Many people come to me and ask, "What's the point of calling God?" Whatever is happening is happening. What will we gain by calling God? They tell me these things. I don't say anything more out of fear. What can I say? They say everything is happening anyway, so what's the use? I think to myself that they are right. Everything is happening automatically. This is the truth. I accept their perspective.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
But God is doing everything invisibly. These events were likely destined to happen this year. We say 2022 is even more intense than 2021. It's hard to predict what else will happen. A meteor fell, and another oneâa terrible oneâis coming. Where will it land? One meteor already fell in America, as you saw. Now tsunamis are occurring. They won't be small; they will be much larger. I believe a few islands will disappear.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Then there are the earthquakes. They are lined up one after anotherâearthquakes followed by tsunamis. Previously, an earthquake didn't necessarily mean a tsunami would follow. Now, it's as if they are linked. The magnitude of earthquakes used to be lower, but now we hear about magnitudes of 6 or 7. This is also concerning. The Earth is gradually declining. Those who survive will do so somehow. The Earth will be severely damaged. There will be massive casualties and loss of life. Nature will not let go; it will torment the Earth from all sides.
Host:
Gurudev, in this context, many people come to you with personal problems. You advise them based on their specific issuesâsome wear certain stones, some wear Rudraksha, some are given lead, or other items. Given the state of the world, is there nothing that can be given to the Earthâsomething it can "wear"âto save it from this danger?
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
No, no, nothing like that. Constant prayer to God is the only way left. These stones won't do anything. It's about praying to God every moment. Look, where Krishna lived in the Dwapara Yuga, his final home also went underwater. Even though Krishna himself was there, nothing could be saved. So, what is destined to happen will happen. No one has the power to stop it. God has already determined what will happen and where.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
We are getting scared unnecessarily, even though everyone is saying frightening things. People suddenly claim both Bengals will sink or go underwater. Such things are being said. But the Earth won't end completely. According to our calculations, the Earth still has its lifespan. Based on my calculations, the Earth's life is not over yet. I can say this with confidence.
Host:
One more thing, Gurudev. The video before the last one was titled "Did God also turn his face away?" You mentioned last time that God has turned away. People, due to the lockdown or other reasons, can no longer go to the temple to the Mother and embrace her as they did before. In Tarapith, everyone used to be able to embrace the Mother, but that is no longer allowed.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
No, it's not.
Host:
And all these pilgrimage sites are giving indications one by one. As you said, Jagannath Dham was the first. An indication was given there too, which was the subject of a previous video. This constant turning away of God... people come to you with their problems because they have faith in youâyou and the doctors. Even then, you advise them just to call upon God. You've spent your life calling upon God, but ordinary people who sought Him are gradually becoming averse to God over time.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Frustration has set in. They are frustrated from calling upon God repeatedly. They say, "Let's see what happens; He doesn't listen to us," or they ask me to pray for them, thinking He will listen to me but not to them. Many people come and say this. Even if I don't go to the crematorium, there's a lot of pressure at home. People come to my house because they feel they have no other choice. They call and come, saying they'll only stay for a minute, then they pour everything out at once. Anyway, I call the crematorium and give instructions on what to provide for them. I can't go myselfâfirstly, it's very cold, and secondly, there are doctor's orders.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
The doctor told me not to go out until he says so. That, combined with the cold, keeps me inside. I am suffering mentally because I see how much these people are suffering. All my life, I've tried to solve people's problems. Now, I feel I can't help them as I used to. This is taking a toll on my mental health. Sitting at home like this is affecting my state of mind.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
That is my fearâthat the mental pressure will build up if I stay isolated like this. I talk on the phone; thousands of calls come inâ100 to 150 every day. I take them, but hearing their troubles makes my head spin. These problems can't be solved from home. One must go to the Mother, to the crematorium, and perform the work from there. Everything is done after speaking to the Mother. Since I can't go, I feel a sense of deep discomfort.
Host:
Gurudev, one last question. You mentioned in this video that maybe there's a mistake or a gap somewhere. Do you know where that gap is?
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
I know. But what's the use of knowing? This cannot be repaired. It cannot be repaired, son. I know where the gap is and what the situation is, but there is no way for me to fix it. People have to endure this. Every single person has to endure it. Even then, we don't disclose everything from our calculations. We share some things and keep others hidden. But 2022 is not something that can be hidden; it will cause immense suffering. I don't want to say it because it will cause further mental distress.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
The pressure on us will increase. It's already increasing and will continue to do so. I'm not seeing good things, son. No, I'm not. Something bad could happen, and people will just have to stand by and watch.
Host:
Audience, at the beginning of the year, Gurudev made a prediction. You may be realizing that parts of that prediction are starting to come true. Gurudev has said that calling upon God constantly is the only path left for us.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
No, there's no other way. What else can be done? Nature will strike severely. Nature will be ravaged, and so will humanity. When nature is mutilated, humans are too. That is what will happen. I feel very bad about it, but there's nothing that can be done, son.
Host:
We began with the point that people are becoming averse to God.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
People turn away from God when they are frustrated. It's frustration, nothing else.
Host:
You used to say that as much as people look for God, God is also looking for a true human. Now, you're saying that search has ended. God has turned away.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
It's true.
Host:
Previously, the pull was from both sides. Now, it seems one-sided. The entire equation of attraction and repulsion has changed.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
People have developed a lack of desire to stay alive. They feel, "If I die, I die; whatever happens, happens." That spark for living is gone.
Host:
People have become reckless because life has become so uncertain.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Exactly. That's why people no longer want to do things with the hope of a better future. They've abandoned the hope of living well. About 80% of people have more or less given up on that hope. They are just living because they are alive. And since what happens next is out of their hands, they've stopped thinking about it.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
I am very anxious. I can't express everything, but I am extremely anxious, son. I don't feel good.
Host:
We will end our discussion here for today. Pranam, Gurudev.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Pranam, son. Pranam, Pranam.
Is there a stone, a ritual, or a Rudraksha that can save the Earth? No. Even when Lord Krishna lived in Dwapara Yuga, his own home went underwater. What is destined to happen will happen. God has already determined the outcome. Our only recourse is constant prayerâto call upon the Divine every single moment, even if it feels like He is not listening.
A Message to the Devotees
I am currently confined due to my health and the doctor's orders, and it pains me mentally to see how much people are suffering. I receive hundreds of calls daily, and hearing their troubles without being able to go to the Mother's cremation ground to perform the work for them is a heavy burden. But remember, the Earth's lifespan is not yet over. We must endure this cycle with patience and prayer.
Host:
Gurudev, we will take your advice to heart. Only constant prayer can guide us through this mutilation of nature.
