Interviewer:
Please tell us, Guru Maharaj. Today in India, we are seeing that most people are no longer at the level of human beings; they have almost turned into animals. Because of them, we see that animals and beasts are being attacked today. If you could shed some light on the reason behind this and what its remedy is, it would be very good.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Look, one thing is that humans are no longer at a human level; humans have descended to an animalistic level. This is why humans are being so cruel to animals. You saw the incident in Keralaâhow they killed a mother elephant. It was inhumane and brutal. Its consequences will be terrible.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Today, lookâthe energy within our bodies, the Kul-Kundalini, is protected by an elephant. Many people might not know this, or many might not say it, but the truth is that an elephant maintains our Kul-Kundalini power. Therefore, the fact that humans are killing elephants today, killing dogs, and killing cowsâif you consider these as indications, it shows that the oppression of the Kali Yuga has begun. Kali is now at its peak.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
He has started this oppression, and you will see it. After seeing it, you will ask yourself if these are humans or animals. We have a saying among saints: "Hathi chale bazaar, kutta bhoke hazaar" (When the elephant walks through the market, thousands of dogs bark). An elephant is the largest of all tusked animals on Earth, and it is not harmful. It just wants its forest. It wants the food available in the forest. It wants to live in the forest.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
But humans won't let that happen because they think, "If they stay, we won't be able to live." I have spent a long time in North Bengal; I have been there for many days. I have encountered many herds of elephants. I spent many days in the Chilapata forest, the Rajabhatkhawa forest, and at Panbari station, where the sunlight doesn't even penetrateâI have worked in such forests. But I have never seen such brutality.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
To the honey-collectors or those who cut trees in the forestâthe loggersâthe elephant is "Maharaj." They call it "Maharaj." They say the elephant is the supreme word. You cannot say "elephant"; you must call it "Father of the Forest." When they go into the forest to cut wood, they first worship the tree they are going to cut, and then they worship the elephant. Two pujas are performed.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
They perform a puja so that a wild animal doesn't attack them. And another puja is performed at the base of the tree that is to be cut. The forest workers do this themselves; no priest is required for this. When I worked in the forest for many years, I saw this in the Chilapata, Rajabhatkhawa, and Damanpur forests. Elephants often come to the villages to eat crops, but the villagers drive them away using fire or by banging on tin cans. They never lay a hand on an elephant because they know the consequences of harming one are terrible.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
And then, this mother elephant, who was pregnantâkilling her in this way is not just unthinkable; it is unpardonable. If there is any law in the country... it started long ago when Salman Khan killed a blackbuck. Since then, it has been said that the "King" has forbidden the killing of animals in the forest. The King himself wrote it, but when the King goes, he himself kills animals. This is the situation we are in.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Now, laws and regulations have almost disappeared; there's no question about them. There is also no one to monitor or protest. There has been a protestâa massive protestâand I don't know if they have been arrested. I heard two people were arrested.
Interviewer:
Yes, we heard two people were arrested.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
What good will arresting them do? If it is proven that they did it, I think they should be blown up in the same way. Tie them to a lamppost and shoot them. If this can be done, then at least it might stop to some extent. And where the King is killing wild animals, the subjects will naturally do the same.
Interviewer:
The King does it for sport, and people have adopted that same attitude. Humans have started playing with wild animals.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Not only that, look at the cow. You saw in Himachal Pradeshâthe cow is our wealth. It is "Go-Mata." Not only that, we find mentions of cows in the Vedas as well. Even Krishna, whose name is "Gopal," which means "protector of cows"âhe also respected cows. But even there, it is observed that people think, "None of them will remain on Earth; we will rule. We are humans, so we will rule."
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
And not just that, look at how dogs on the street are being killed by putting needles in bread. They are being murdered. And besides that, you see people are eating dog meat now. It is well-proven now what kind of meat people are eating. Humans have now become demons (Rakshas). Humans will eat whatever they find.
Interviewer:
So my question is, what will be the consequence for humans for what they are doing?
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Look, if you shoot one, another will be ready. However, if a significant punishment is given to them, then other people might be a bit afraid. But humans have become "mad." They have lost their sense of honor and their conscience. I have said this many times beforeâour intellect is given by Budha (Mercury), and the presiding deity of Budha is Ma Kamakhya.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Now, Mercury is gradually burning. As it burns and becomes smaller, a day will come when the Sun will swallow Mercury. And then humans will become completely inhuman. This is what happens when there is no intellect. It is said, "Buddhir yasya balam tasya, nirbuddheshcha kuto balam" (He who has intelligence has strength; how can the unintelligent have strength?). Humans need conscience. If the level of conscience gradually drops, then these consequences will automatically increase.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
And this is the end of Kali. Now you will see oppression not just on animals but on humans as well, which is unimaginable. Hands will be cut off, eyes will be gouged out, ears will be cut off, legs will be cut off. This is the oppression of Kali.
Interviewer:
This means not just on animals; humans will oppress humans as well.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Absolutely, humans are already oppressing humans; there's no mistake about that. The government says "look after the poor" and gives them rice and pulses, but that rice and pulses disappear even before they reach them. They are stolen from the road. How will they get them? They won't get anything.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
That's why I'm sayingâthe King has written "Do not kill deer in the forest," but the deer will still die. No matter how much the King writes or says, the deer will die. The King won't care about it, and the King himself will also kill deer. This is a bitter truth. Now, the consequence of killing that mother elephant with a baby in her womb is going to be very terrible.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Humans will judge humans if they are killed. But if an elephant, a cow, or a dog dies, who will judge that? That's when we remember God. We don't go to court for that. They are killing animals like this. Today they are eating dogs; tomorrow they will eat snakes and frogs. They have no choice; humans will have to eat them. And humans will eat humans.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Because now, a wave of alcohol is flowing. If you drink alcohol, you need meat. After alcohol and meat, you need women. Without these, nothing is complete for them. So, it has reached this level. Now, everyone is drinking alcohol in broad daylight, in front of everyone. There's no protection; your end is inevitable. And the administration won't say anything. What is the fault of the administration? If humans become inhuman, what can the administration do?
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
The administration has its eyes closed. Two elephants died, two dogs died, or two cows diedâit doesn't matter to them. And now it is seen that even when humans are dying, they don't care. Look at this massive Corona pandemic that is going on; even amidst this, the lockdown has been lifted. The only medicine for Corona is to maintain distance from people. That is the only medicine for Corona. It hasn't stopped yet; it's still going on.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Now humans are opening malls and other things. In a couple of days, the trains will start. Then who will control whom? That's when the real disaster will strike. Peace won't come with just 400,000 or 500,000 cases; it will take 20 to 40 million. You will see it sooner or later. It won't find peace without 20 to 40 million cases. Because the year 2020 is called the year of deathâthe year of death for humans.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Now we see that besides humans, animals and innocent creatures are also being killed. They are being killed for various reasons. What did they gain by killing an elephant? What lesson did it learn? Will other elephants learn any lesson? A day will come when a herd of elephants will chase them; that day, they won't have any protection. Because elephants take revenge. One thing about elephants is that they take revenge. They will take revenge in some way.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Look at Maharashtraâit has now surpassed China. That's what I'm hearing. I don't see it myself, but I get calls from Maharashtra, from Mumbai. They only say, "The Corona is surrounding us; please save us, Guru Dev." I get calls every moment. "Only you can save us; I'm living amidst Corona." Many young men are crying; they are dying every day. If they find someone, anyone, they are requesting, "Save us, save us."
Interviewer:
This means your point is that the current youth society wants to hold on to any good or knowledgeable person to survive.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Knowledgeable people like us, who have done some spiritual practice or have seen God, or have gained knowledge by reading booksâthere's a doubt whether they will even let us stay. Because every moment there is trouble for us. You don't knowâpeople come here. Even God's situation is such that they won't let me do any work either. If I do some work, it benefits people.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Since this morning, at least 10 to 15 people have come. Someone has cancer, someone has a terrible disease, someone is admitted to the hospitalâthey came to me for these reasons. "If you give something, it will be better; if you try a little, it will be better," etc. But by God's grace, they won't let me work either. People come, and immediately people from the neighborhood arrive, saying "Corona is going on, why is there such a crowd here, stop this," etc.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
I have stopped it, but still, what will people do? When they become helpless, they lose their common sense. They don't have common sense regarding Corona or anything else. That's the situation here now. And God is displeased. The most important thing is that God is displeased. The planets we work with have also turned against us. The planets we take help from have now gone into a bad position.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
So, we can expect that this is a year of death. There will be many deaths. I said one thing before, I don't know if you knowâhumans will be lying on the street, but no one will touch them. I said this long before Coronaâthat humans will be lying on the street, but no one will touch them.
Interviewer:
That is indeed coming true today. We can see that it's coming true.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
It will come to a true conclusion. People are lying on the street, and no one is picking them up. Even their own parents are lying there, and they aren't picking them up. They aren't going to cremate their parents. You can imagine the misfortune. This is happening today, but after some time, when Corona is gone, a regret will remain in their minds: "I wasn't there during my father's cremation." This will haunt them. This will also become a disease.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
What people are seeing, what they are hearingânow there's no problem in seeing. There's YouTube now, there's social media; whatever news comes out is immediately shared. People are watching it. And half the people will go mad because of this. One day I said the same thingâwhile this Corona is going on, turn off the television, or people will go mad. Humans have a certain tolerance level. If they watch or hear these things, it will be very harmful to them. And maybe many will develop nerve diseases. Many will develop nerve problems when they see all this. Many people cannot tolerate this.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Many people believe in non-violence. Non-violence is the supreme religion. But in the religion we follow, non-violence is a big part of it. But now there are moderates and extremists. One group says, "Loot and eat; there's no law in the country, no king, no administration. So, loot and eat." And another group of people, who believe in God, are sitting quietly in their houses out of fear. "No, brother, I won't go." If there's trouble in a neighbor's house, they aren't coming out.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Even if they go to court, they aren't getting that kind of legal help. It's all a game of money. So, the biggest thing is that where the law is supposedly functioning, bribery is also rampant. If you go to a High Court, they will take whatever money a person has. To get a file out, they will take whatever money you have. 150 rupees is nothing. There's no difference between the poor and the rich. Oppression is going on indiscriminately.
Interviewer:
This means you're saying that humans have no conscience or humanity left; everything is being lost.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Everything will be lost. One thing will be for foodâfood and drink. When humans don't get food, they will start killing. This will happen, no doubt about it. Today you see the elephant; many rhinos have been killedâI've seen it with my own eyes. They were killed by being poisoned just to take the rhino's horn. The horn of the rhinoceros is made of hair. There is a belief that if you eat or drink something from that horn, even if it's poison, the poison will be neutralized. For this reason, many rhinos have been killed for their horns.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
There's a poaching ring, as you can understand. So, humans will gradually turn towards animals and adopt animalistic traits. And that day will be very terrible. That very day will be very terribleâthe day humans start adopting animalistic traits. It's like a contagious disease: "He did it, why shouldn't I? He did it, why shouldn't I?" This contagious disease will gradually spread because there will be no judgment for it.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
What judgment can there be for killing an animal? There will be some noise and shouting for a few days. Think about the case in Maharashtra where the saints were beaten to death. I said one thing thenâthat the hands have been laid on saints and animals. Know this for sureâit is a sign of a terrible upcoming unrest. Do you understand? When those saints were killed, I said hands have been laid on God. And this mother elephant that was killedâno matter who did it, whether for sport or out of angerâthe consequences will be terrible. The society will have to suffer. Don't think that you or I will be spared. The whole society will have to suffer.
Interviewer:
Salutations, Guru Dev. We have heard your invaluable speech. We request those who are watching this channel, guptasadhu-samakhapa.in, please subscribe to it, write in the comment box, and share it. Salutations.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Okay, listen. You're saying all this, but I'm saying againânever say these things. There's no need. Whoever wants to will watch the video. It's not like I'm God. I make videos for the good of the people. This mother elephant that was killed, these dogs that are being killed, the cow-slaughter that's happeningâthe consequences are terrible, child. So, there's no use in subscribing, and no one needs to put me on a pedestal. I only want one thingâwatch the video, gain some knowledge. This is my only point.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Because one thing I'm telling youâgood people are leaving the world. God will take away the good people. If there are good people, God cannot bring about a catastrophe. If there is even one good person on Earth, it's difficult for God to bring about a catastrophe. Until they are taken up or killed, He cannot bring about a catastrophe.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Look, in the Puranas, there is Vritrasura. He was such a great demon that even the gods couldn't kill him. Then sage Dadhichi said, "I am sacrificing myself. Use my bones to make a weaponâa thunderbolt. Use my bones, the bones of my body, to make a weapon." Look, the gods are so powerful, yet an ordinary person sacrificed his body today to kill Vritrasura. And Vritrasura was killed by the weapon made from his bones. So, sometimes God doesn't speak; He stays quiet. He just watches. He stays quiet.

Spiritual Insight
Guru Shyama Khyapa delivers one of his most impassioned warnings about humanity's descent into cruelty. The brutal killing of a pregnant mother elephant in Kerala becomes a symbol for the peak of Kali Yuga's oppression. He reveals esoteric knowledge that elephants protect the Kul-Kundalini energy in humans, making their slaughter particularly catastrophic. The teaching connects animal cruelty to the burning of Mercury (intellect), predicting that when the Sun swallows Mercury, humans will become completely inhuman. His warning is stark: "Humans will eat humans"âa prophecy of cannibalism as the final degradation of the age.
