For those who will offer Pushpanjali (floral offerings) to the Mother, go to her with a pure heart. That is all that is required—a pure heart. Whether you have bathed or not, or whatever else may be, it does not matter. If the mind is pure, everything is pure.

Apavitrah Pavitro Va Sarvavastham Gato'pi Va Yah Smaret Pundarikaksham Sa Bahyabhyantarah Shuchih. Whether one is impure or pure, or in whatever state one may be, he who remembers the Lotus-Eyed Lord becomes pure both externally and internally.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
You cannot go to the Mother with a mind full of tangles and malice—thinking of hurting someone, catching someone, or worrying about money. These things will not work. Go to the Mother only with a pure heart. Otherwise, there is no need. Do not go to the Mother with poison in your heart.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Now I will recite the Anjali Mantra. First, bow down to the Mother. Stand before her, clear your mind, and let your soul become one with the Mother. Namoh Apavitrah Pavitro Va Sarvavastham Gato'pi Va Yah Smaret Pundarikaksham Sa Bahyabhyantarah Shuchih. Namoh Vishnu, Namoh Vishnu, Namoh Vishnu!

Take a flower in your hand with a wood apple leaf and basil leaf. Hold them in your folded hands before the Mother and say: Namoh Ayurdehi Yashodehi Bhagyanti Bhagavati Dehi Me Putrang Dehi Dhanang Dehi Sarvan Kamanshcha Dehi Me. Namoh Bhagavati Bhayachhede Bhavabhavini Kamade Shankari Kaushiki Tvam Hi Katyayani Namostute.

Esha Sachandana Gandhapushpanjali Sayudhaya S-vahanaya Sa-parivaraya Shri Shri Bhagavati Durgayai Namoh. We are offering Anjali not just to the Mother, but to the weapons in her hands, to her lion carrier, and to her entire family. Everyone receives this offering.

For the second offering, take fresh flowers and leaves and say: Hara Papam Hara Klesham Hara Shokam Harasokham Hara Rogam Hara Khobham Hara Maring Harapriye. Namoh Kali Kali Mahakali Kalike Papaharini Dharma Artha Mokshade Devi Narayani Namostute.

In this age of Kali, there is no other way but the chanting of the Holy Name. The 16-word, 32-letter mantra—Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare—will be your salvation. Those who cannot go to temples can listen to these mantras at home, and their offerings will be accepted by the Divine Mother.
