Speaker 1: Yes, Dadu, please come in, come in. Joining us today is the respected Shishir Da, also known as Poltu Da. We were very hopeful... as I mentioned, he stays very busy with many responsibilities.
Speaker 2: After the initial rituals, the Homa (sacred fire ritual) will begin. The Mother's worship will continue all through the night. The Homa has already started. Once it is complete, we will perform the puja at the altar above. Following that, the worship will continue throughout the night in the Mother's main temple. Alright?
Speaker 2: Now, I won't speak for long. We have organized a small, humble initiative to distribute clothes to some people. For those who are arriving, we will provide them with clothes and other items we have arranged. That is what we wanted to share. Worship takes place here every day, and many people visit for Darshan—large crowds come to see the Mother. We invite everyone to visit and experience it. We also distribute Bhog (sacred food offerings) in the morning, and we are striving to expand this in the future. Given our current limited resources, we are doing as much as possible. Bhog is served to everyone who visits in the morning. We are putting in our utmost effort to ensure the entire puja and ceremony are conducted beautifully.
Speaker 2: However, due to the challenging economic situation, we have had to scale back on certain things. But it's alright; this year we are conducting the clothes distribution on a small scale, and we aim to do it much more grandly next year. This event has been made possible thanks to the direct cooperation of Dulal, Kadu, and others, including our Ghatak Da. Because of their support, we have reached this stage today. I hope next year's arrangements will be even better and more beautiful. Isn't that right, Dulal?
Speaker 1: In a short while, he will share a few words regarding today's puja. We would now like to honor him. Shishir Da, also known as Poltu Da—you all know Shishir Da well. Our respected elder brother, Mr. Bishwaroop Ghatak, is now presenting a token of honor to the esteemed Shishir Da. He has many commitments, so we truly appreciate him finding the time to be here. As many of you know, he is now one of our public representatives. We are deeply grateful to him for coming despite his busy schedule. We would now like to hear a few words from him.
Speaker 1: Now, we have with us Mrs. Shibani Ghosh, the councillor of Ward No. 19 of the Rajpur-Sonarpur Municipality. Our sister is now honoring Mrs. Shibani Ghosh. Shibani Ghoshal is being presented with a shawl and a memento. On behalf of Shantipunja and the puja organizers, we request the honorable councillor, Mrs. Shibani Ghosh, to say a few words.
Mrs. Shibani Ghosh: Namaskar. I would like to extend my early festive greetings and heartfelt congratulations to everyone present here. Every year, Jethu—our dear Shyamakhyapa Jethu—invites me here. He organizes this event so beautifully that I always enjoy coming, though we couldn't be here for the past two years due to the pandemic.
Mrs. Shibani Ghosh: It feels wonderful to be back this year. I sincerely congratulate Jethu for organizing such a beautiful program. I hope it will be even bigger and better next year. My heartfelt thanks to everyone involved, especially the members of our Shyama Puja committee. I don't have much else to say, except to wish you all a healthy and happy festive season ahead. With that, I conclude my speech. Thank you.
