Moderator:
Greetings, Gurudev.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Greetings to you too.
Moderator:
There's something special we're noticing—the incredible pull towards Mother. Many people are coming from far away to become your disciples. Their intense love for Mother brings them here again and again. Today, we see five people who arrived yesterday. They've just become your disciples. They say it's the pull of Father and Mother that brought them here. Gurudev, please bless them and say a few words about why they keep coming back.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
They didn't even inform me; they just suddenly showed up, all five of them, for initiation. They're from Siliguri and Darjeeling. I didn't know about it. Where would I keep them? This is a cremation ground. But they insisted on staying here throughout the night with Mother. They stayed, and this morning, their initiation was completed. They are truly devoted people; I realized they are genuine devotees of God. It felt good to initiate them today. Now, ask them about their feelings. Ask Rakesh.
Moderator:
Your name is Rakesh?
Rakesh:
Yes, my name is Rakesh.
Moderator:
Why did you come to this temple from so far away—almost 700 kilometers?
Rakesh:
For Father.
Moderator:
Just for Father?
Rakesh:
For Father, for Mother, and for initiation.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
He's a good football player. He used to play for Mohun Bagan, right?
Rakesh:
Yes.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Where do you play now?
Rakesh:
BSF Sporting Club.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
He plays for BSF Sporting Club now, in the Premier League.
Moderator:
Another person is sitting next to him, also from Siliguri. Do you feel the same way? Why did you come to Father?
Disciple 2:
Given the current situation, there's a strong attraction towards Mother. That's why I came. Also, it's hard to find honest people in this world. I've seen Father's YouTube channel; he's a great soul. I can't express it in words. It's hard to find good people, but after watching Father on YouTube and meeting him in person, I feel very good.
Moderator:
Look, we don't have many facilities here for staying or proper food. Yet you came, and Gurudev arranged for your stay.
Disciple 2:
He has given us enough respect. As I said, I can't explain it. We came because of Father's attraction. We saw him on YouTube and became his disciples.
Moderator:
There's another gentleman here. What's your take?
Disciple 3:
Same here. I've been attracted to Mother for a long time. I was looking for someone to guide me. After seeing Gurudev on YouTube and hearing that he gives initiation, I came here. You need a guide for everything, someone to show the way.
Moderator:
So, you've chosen Gurudev as your guide. You'll follow his path and be devoted to Mother.
Disciple 3:
Exactly.
Moderator:
Gurudev, there are two more devotees on your right. They've also been initiated. Sir, what's your name?
Sholin Singh:
My name is Sholin Singh.
Moderator:
Where are you from?
Sholin Singh:
I'm from Kishanganj district.
Moderator:
Kishanganj is near Bihar.
Sholin Singh:
Yes, it's in Bihar. I came to Father because of a friend. I felt I couldn't live without initiation anymore. Initiation and devotion to Mother are the only ways. My friend mentioned seeing a video about this place in Kolkata. So, we decided on a date. Suddenly, it was fixed for Friday night, and on Saturday, we five friends came to Father. Father initiated us, and I feel like my body is purified now.
Moderator:
And your name?
Rittom Singh:
Rittom Singh.
Moderator:
Did you also come for initiation?
Rittom Singh:
Yes, I came for initiation.
Moderator:
How do you feel now?
Rittom Singh:
I feel very good.
Moderator:
One more thing. We received a comment earlier about someone getting initiation in a dream. Let's talk to the person who experienced it. How did that feel?
Disciple:
If you keep thinking about something constantly—like wanting to visit Gurudev or the temple—it often appears in your dreams. That's how I saw it in my dream.
Moderator:
You saw Gurudev in your dream, and now you've received initiation in person.
Disciple:
Yes, I'm very happy.
Moderator:
Gurudev, you heard from your new disciples and their feelings. Please say something.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Distance doesn't matter when there's a spiritual pull. They chose me, perhaps seeing some truth in me. They came for initiation without even informing me. They stayed here last night. A few days ago, someone came from... you know...
Moderator:
Asansol?
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Not Asansol... Tripura.
Moderator:
Tripura.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Someone came from Tripura. He stayed for two days, came by plane, got initiated, and left. Distance is no barrier if someone truly wants it. I was surprised by these guys. I kept asking if they had enough money for the journey back, as they came from so far. I'm worried about them until they reach home safely. I told them to have some food, Mother's Prasad, before leaving. They'll go by bus as there are no trains. I'm amazed they made it. I know distance doesn't matter; people have come from America, Canada, France, Germany to receive initiation after watching my YouTube videos. But these guys' journey is special. None of them are wealthy, which makes me think about their safe return. I'll be at peace once they reach home.
Moderator:
We often think today's youth are going astray, but seeing them, it seems the younger generation is awakening.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Yes, the youth are indeed turning towards spirituality. Since morning, about 30-40 people came. I sent them back to prioritize these guys' initiation. They came from afar and need some care.
Moderator:
People coming from far away often look for a place to stay. This temple is small and lacks space, yet they stayed through the night.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
All five of them stayed here last night. They spent the whole night chanting God's name. It's heartening. If this continues, society can change in an instant. I get many positive comments from young people. Initially, people might not understand me because of how I dress—in red cloth, with rudraksha—some might not like it. But I don't run a business. My only wish is for society and everyone in it to be well. I initiate anyone who comes with a pure heart. They were fortunate to get initiated today.
Moderator:
Gurudev, it's wonderful to see you surrounded by your disciples. This spiritual awakening among the youth is beautiful. When they return home, they'll create a spiritual environment and talk about you and Mother.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
I've given each of them a book on Mother and the Gita. They are all great devotees of Krishna. They've received the Krishna mantra. This is what's needed today. In Kaliyuga, chanting Krishna's name is the supreme path. I was surprised they all wanted initiation from the same deity. It takes time for me to initiate as I have to touch various parts of the body to awaken spiritual energy. I couldn't see other people today because of this. But I'll be at peace once they reach home safely. I told them to have Mother's Prasad before leaving.
Moderator:
Gurudev, we see you welcoming your disciples with an open heart. Some say your speech is a bit harsh, but your heart is different.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
People call me a coconut—hard on the outside but soft on the inside. It's necessary to be a bit firm sometimes to manage things in today's world. But despite that, I do what's needed for everyone. Those who can handle my temperament will gain something.
Moderator:
I think your nature stems from being selfless and not being greedy for money.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Why would I be greedy? Should I sell Mother's name? That would make me feel small. The one I worship is the owner of everything. If she's kind to me, I won't lack anything. Why take from these poor guys who traveled so far? These five must have spent at least 10,000 rupees. I kept asking if they had enough money to go back. I've often given money to people who came here for initiation. It brings me peace. I tell them not to lie to me; if they don't have money, I'll arrange it.
Moderator:
No other guru would say that. Most want to take from their disciples, but you're the opposite.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
You can't grow that way. These guys don't have much. This boy who plays football—I bless him. He'll do great things. He's still young. I told Rakesh to focus on his game. It's good that they are into physical fitness and spirituality.
Moderator:
Gurudev, I request you to bless them as they start this new chapter as your disciples.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Initiation is important, and finding a good guru can truly change one's life. There are many spiritual points in the body that need to be awakened. They'll do fine. I know they won't take the wrong path or deceive anyone.
Moderator:
May your blessings be with them.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
They'll surely do well. They'll share their experiences with others. I don't know how much hospitality I could offer, and they might have faced some discomfort staying up all night, but chanting Mother's name is a great thing. It's like their guru from a past life is their guru in this life too. That's why they came from so far. My wish for them is fulfilled.
Moderator:
They are happy to receive your initiation.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
They are very happy.
Moderator:
Greetings, Gurudev.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Greetings to you too.
Moderator:
The disciples are having their meal. They've come from far away and are having Mother's Prasad. No one ever leaves here on an empty stomach.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Eat well! Who knows when you'll get to eat again on your journey.
Moderator:
Gurudev, say a few words as they eat.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
They're leaving for Siliguri now, so I'm making sure they're well-fed. I gave them Mother's Prasad. I've already blessed them. Initiation itself is a blessing. My only concern is their safe journey home.
Moderator:
Disciples from Siliguri came to Shantikunja to meet Gurudev. It's their good fortune to have met him and offered their prayers to Mother. This is a rare opportunity. They came from the other end of West Bengal amidst the COVID situation, trusting Mother. We pray that Mother fulfills their wishes. May Mother guide them safely back home, just as she brought them here. We hope their faith in Mother and Gurudev remains steadfast. You have a long journey ahead. Don't be shy, eat the Prasad well.
