Disciple:
Pranam, Gurudev.
Gurudev:
Pranam. Yes, tell me what you want to say.
Disciple:
I wanted to ask about KaliāKali Yugaāand where it stands now.
Gurudev:
I will tell you. Kali will come; it is a fearsome form of Narayana. Kali marks the end. Among all the incarnations of Narayana, Kali is the most destructive. Kali himself won't do everything directly. He will arrive on a horse with a sword in hand, but his main method will be to provoke people. He will incite them, increasing their power and putting weapons in their hands so they kill each other. Kali doesn't need to do much more than that.
Gurudev:
When he fully manifests, the Jagannath Temple will be submerged in water. As I have mentioned before, the temple will be in the midst of the sea. It is said that the sea will reclaim the Jagannath Temple when Kali appears. Until Jagannath leaves, Kali cannot fully take over because seven immortal beings (Chiranjeevis) are still hereālike Hanumanji and Bibhishan. As long as they are present, there will be a fierce conflict with Kali. Although Kali may ultimately prevail, these seven immortals, who have lived since the times of Rama and the Mahabharata, will wait for him and fight against him.
Gurudev:
These seven immortals are alive and will remain so until Kali arrives. Their purpose is to fight Kali when the time comes. Kali's primary work is to agitate people and put weapons in their hands so they fight amongst themselves. He won't do much himself; he will make humans do it. This is why we are already seeing so much violence and conflict. People are killing each other, shooting each otherāit's very frightening.
Gurudev:
If people keep fighting like this, it won't take long for the world to empty out. This is what will happen in Kali Yuga. Kali has not fully appeared yet. Those seven immortalsāHanuman, Bibhishan, Kripacharya, and othersāwill fight the final battle against him. Kali will provoke everyone, providing weapons and creating situations where people clash.
Gurudev:
This is Kali's influence. When he truly arrives, the Jagannath Temple will be lost to the sea. We are already seeing bad omens. Such things were never seen before at the Jagannath Templeālike the 43 ovens being broken. This is a significant sign. Many temples that used to stay open at night are now being locked because of the rise in theft. These thieves have no fear of God; they just want the valuables. Kali will drive these actions.
Gurudev:
These are the traits of Kali, and it has already started. If you look at the Jagannath Temple, cracks have started appearing. We can say that Kali is almost here. Kali is the final incarnation of Narayana, but he won't do the dirty work himself; he will use people to do it. From what I knowāand this is my personal opinion, not based on anyone else's writingsāKali is currently meditating in Kailash.
Gurudev:
After completing his meditation, he will go to Vaishno Devi and marry Maa Vaishno Devi. It is said that after this, his full power will be unleashed. Whether this is true or not, this is what I know to be the absolute truth. We are living in fear of what will happen to humanity when Kali fully manifests. There will be extreme suffering, and the world will be plagued by diseases that doctors won't be able to treat.
Gurudev:
People will die in great numbers. Kali will also cause food shortages. Suddenly, there will be no rice or potatoes in the market. You won't be able to buy food even if you have money. These are the influences of Kali. Even in Islam, they speak of the "Mahdi" who will come and bring a time of great slaughter. In our tradition, we say Kali will come, marry Vaishno Devi, and then the real destruction begins. When Jagannath leaves the temple, he will leave the earth entirely.
Gurudev:
Lord Jagannath, Subhadra, and Balaram will leave on two horses toward the west. When they leave, a great catastrophe (Pralaya) will occur. Who can withstand that? The Lord of the Universe is leaving. We see bad signs alreadyāvultures sitting on the temple flag, cracks in the structure, and the destruction of the temple ovens. These are not good signs at all.
Gurudev:
The Konark temple will also be affected. People are worried. Nothing good is on the horizon. Kali's influence will bring storms, floods, and total chaos. He will take away the food supply and people will die of starvation. This is all written. We will have to see what else happens as Kali's influence grows.
Gurudev:
Those who are spiritually inclined can already see the signs. When Kali enters the temple on his horse, Jagannath will flee. Jagannath will not protect the temple from Kali. But the seven immortalsāHanuman, Bibhishan, Ashwatthama, Kripacharya, and othersāare waiting to fight.
Gurudev:
They will fight Kali, but they may struggle because their weapons have grown old and lost their edge. Kali will continue to provoke humans to fight each other. Overnight, food grains will disappear from the market. These are the signs of Kali's era.
Gurudev:
Disease will spread across the world, and doctors will be powerless to control it. This is my prophecy: there will be so much illness that medical science will fail. Even doctors are falling ill now. I have seen many doctorsāabout 24 or 25 of them. One came to me with lung cancer. I performed a ritual (Homa) for him, and he says he feels a bit better now. But when the ones who are supposed to treat us are themselves sick, it is a very frightening situation. Kali will not let even the doctors stay well. He will make people so restless and miserable that they won't be able to stand it. This is what's coming. We spiritual people are very concerned about what will happen when Kali fully arrives.
Gurudev:
Alright then. Namaskar.
