Recently, a terrifying fire broke out in the generator room of the Tarapith Temple. What do you have to say about this?
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
This is a grave omen, something that has never happened at the Tarapith Temple before. You can call it an ominous sign. When the flag of the Jagannath Temple caught fire, I said then that a terrible catastrophe was coming—and the COVID-19 pandemic is the proof of that. Now, a fire has broken out in the Mother's temple. Whether it's the generator room or anywhere else, it is part of the Mother's temple complex. To me, this is a major warning of an even bigger disaster that people aren't seeing yet.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Why should there be a fire in the Mother's house? It has never happened before. But look at the corruption happening there—everything from the way the Mother is bathed, to charging people money just to watch that ritual. They will have to suffer the consequences. Furthermore, these so-called "Tantriks" who perform various acts in the Mother's name—they will also face the results of their actions. There is no escape.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
The Mother will strike them both in their hands and in their stomachs (livelihood). Look at the current lockdown; the Mother is hitting where it hurts. There is so much sacrilege in Her name. Think about a person who fasts all day and stands in line with an offering but cannot see the Mother, while someone else pays 500 rupees and gets to lie at the Mother's feet. How much "merit" do these people think they have to touch the Mother like that?
Devotee:
But Gurudev, people are saying that because Bama-deb (Saint Bamakhepa) is present here as a "living Shiva," there is no reason to fear.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
People will say many things. They'll say Bama-deb is there, so nothing will happen. But Bama-deb is the one who is angry! This is his place, and he is watching the disgraceful activities and "rituals" being performed here—things that God and the Mother cannot tolerate. What can Bama-deb do when people act like this?
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
I am a devotee of Tara, and I am shocked. Such an incident has never happened at Tarapith before. This is happening because of human sin and corruption—extreme depravity. If the people and the priests (Pandas) don't wake up now, the Mother will wipe out their entire lineage. I have been warning about this for a long time.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
They are selling the sight of the Mother's bath for money. Do you know, a boy came to me and said he paid 2,000 rupees to see the Mother's bath? I told him, "I'll give you 10,000 rupees; let me watch your wife bathe." I said that to make a point. You aren't supposed to look at that sacred stone (Shila); people are said to go blind if they look at it with the wrong intent. Yet, they treat the Mother like she's just a piece of metal? Do they think She has no power? Is human power the only power?
Devotee:
We all know how much Mother Tara and Bama-deb are being disrespected lately...
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
He is extremely displeased. Baba (Bama-deb) is furious. He is watching what is being done in his name. In Baba's time, some tried these things, but they either went mad or died. If Bama-deb were physically here today, those doing these things wouldn't have survived.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
The Mother is seeing everything. The time has come. The judgment for this sin and corruption is beginning. These are the signs.
Devotee:
Is there any way to satisfy Bama-deb and Mother Tara now?
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
You ask for a "way," but first, the people must fix themselves. How can there be a way when you are fundamentally wrong? It's like wearing shoes and then trying to donate a cow—it's hypocrisy. The corruption at Tarapith must be paid for. Those who did it and those who supported it will all pay.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
God is angry. Mother is angry. Lord Jagannath is angry. I told you, these are signs of destruction. One after another, these things are happening. If people don't gain a conscience now, they will die in heaps. I said this months ago: millions will die. And this fire is a symptom. Fire in the Mother's house means fire in the country. After this, there will be violence and internal conflict. The government will not have the power to stop it.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
If the government or the locals had been careful before, it would be different. But now, people are just wearing saffron or green robes, performing fake rituals, and drinking alcohol. They must face the music. The time has come. People will suffer terribly. They will scream for the Mother to save them, but it won't work.
Devotee:
We've seen fires from the Puri temple to the Tarapith generator room. Gurudev, when the fire happened in Puri, you called it an omen of a partial apocalypse. Now it's happening at Tarapith. You keep telling people to be conscious and to call upon God with true devotion.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
You cannot do both—make money and call upon God. We are treating the Mother like a commodity. Do you think that money will stay? No one can keep money earned in the Mother's name through corruption.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
I left Tarapith for this very reason. I don't go there much anymore because of these "Mlechha" (sinful/unclean) activities. Tarapith is a "Mahasashan" (Great Cremation Ground). When we talk about fire there, it should be the fire of the funeral pyre. But they are using the fire for other things. They are performing rituals for living people in a place meant for the dead. What do you think the result will be?
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
The cup of sin is full. Those who did it, those who helped, and those who stood by will all perish.
Devotee:
Is this what they call "the decree of fate cannot be undone"?
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
It's not just fate; it's human depravity. They have overwhelmed the Mother with noise and garlands until She looks distressed. I have seen Her looking distressed because of human oppression. What else can happen? People will go to God to save themselves, but if they had been conscious earlier, this wouldn't be happening.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
COVID-19 is just the start; there is something even bigger coming that you cannot yet comprehend. We are helpless. We just have to watch and pray. But there is a limit to corruption.

Gurudev has warned us in many ways to be conscious and not to play games with God. Thank you, Gurudev.

Blessings to you. Remember, they are treating the Mother like she's just metal. They think She has no power. They will learn soon enough.
