Interviewer: Gurudev, my salutations to you.
Gurudev: Salutations, my child.
Interviewer: The fear of the Coronavirus is increasing day by day. It is being said that a third wave is approaching, and in some parts of India, it has already begun.
Gurudev: Yes, it has indeed started in some places.
Interviewer: Previously, during the first wave, we saw you performing Havan (fire rituals) at Shantikunj almost every day for world peace and human welfare, praying for the well-being of humanity.
Gurudev: It is still ongoing. It hasn't stopped.
Interviewer: In one of your episodes, you mentioned that even Brahma, Vishnu, and Maheshwar (Shiva) are praying to Adya Shakti Mahamaya (the Primal Energy) during such dire times for the deliverance of mankind. You suggested that we must also pray to Her and call upon Her. I would like to know more about this today.
Gurudev: Look, such crises have occurred many times in the world's history. We are witnessing it now, but it has happened before—pandemics, famines, and great calamities. The Chandi (scripture) repeatedly states that when such situations arise, we must remember the Mother. Goddess Durga herself has said that whenever famine, pandemics, or epidemics strike the earth, you must remember me, and I shall deliver you.
Gurudev: While Durga Puja is still some time away, I suggest that people in various localities begin performing Durga Puja now. Even if it is done simply with a Ghat (sacred pot) and a Pat (image/picture), there is no issue. Perform the puja, recite the Chandi Path, and conduct Havan. This will significantly mitigate the crisis. I am performing these rituals alone, but if everyone contributes a little, the Mother will be satisfied.
Gurudev: Whether through a simple setup with a pot and picture, let Durga Puja happen. Recite the Chandi Path and perform fire rituals so that the Mother is pleased. Even the Trinity—Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva—remember the Primal Energy. During the battle with Mahishasura, when the demon Raktabija appeared, even the Mother was momentarily taken aback by the overwhelming chaos. The world was filled with the clamor of thousands of Raktabija clones born from every drop of his blood.
Gurudev: The Mother then called upon the Primal Energy (Adya Shakti). When She appeared, She was asked what to do. She replied, "First, free the world from this chaos, then I shall tell you." She struck the earth with Her fist, and the sound of that strike, combined with the Mother's power, silenced the chaos. The Chandi contains many such accounts.
Gurudev: My message at this time is: perform Durga Puja and remember Adya Shakti Mahamaya. There is no other way. You might think "I will survive" or "He will survive," but that is not enough. Remember Her. Praying to Durga is remembering the Primal Energy. She will bring the Mother to our aid, and this "biological war" we call COVID will subside. If people—men and women alike—gather and chant Durga mantras, perform puja, and recite the Chandi, humanity will gain the strength to fight this.
Interviewer: So, you are saying that if we worship and pray to the Mother collectively, it creates a powerful vibration?
Gurudev: Absolutely! There is no doubt about it. I repeatedly tell people: do not just sit idle inside your homes. Gather together and call upon Adya Shakti Mahamaya or Durga. She will invoke the Primal Energy, and we will be freed from this chaos. The Chandi promises, "Remember me in times of trouble, and I shall protect you."
Gurudev: People must stop thinking only of their own safety while their neighbors suffer. Instead, they should unite and perform Durga Puja, even if it is just with a sacred pot. Hire a priest, let everyone contribute a small amount—everyone has a little to give—and perform the rituals.
Interviewer: For the common person, is there a specific mantra they can chant in their daily lives?
Gurudev: The Mother has a single-syllable mantra: "Kling." One can simply chant: "Kling Adya Shakti Mahamayay Namah." That is enough. If women want to perform the puja, they should go ahead; I have no such prejudices. We see women stepping forward to perform Durga Puja and Kali Puja nowadays. If we call Her collectively, She cannot refuse to respond.
Gurudev: Look at the Muslim community; when they offer Namaz, thousands gather to pray to Allah. They have understood the power of collective prayer. We, however, are still stuck in divisions and prejudices. Collective prayer increases spiritual strength exponentially.
Gurudev: We live in India, a land of spirituality and great sages. Yet, we indulge in falsehoods and corruption. I request everyone to set up Ghats in places where Durga Puja is traditionally held and pray to Her. A famine could strike at any moment; prices of rice, pulses, and wheat might soar. Science has its limits; when science fails, one must rely on God and spirituality.
Gurudev: I urge you all—unite and pray. If we call Her together in this time of peril, She will surely come. The Chandi mentions that She has the power to cure diseases and stop calamities.
Interviewer: You have heard Gurudev's guidance. He has previously given such directions, and today he emphasizes the collective worship of Adya Shakti Mahamaya. Through this collective prayer and devotion, the Mother will surely show us the path to deliverance from this pandemic.
Interviewer: Keep watching the Gupta Sadhak Shyama Khyapa YouTube channel for more valuable insights from Gurudev. My salutations to you, Gurudev.
Gurudev: Salutations.

Spiritual Insight

In this powerful message delivered during the COVID-19 pandemic, Guru Shyama Khyapa declares that collective worship of Goddess Durga and Adya Shakti Mahamaya is the only way to salvation during these troubled times. Drawing from the Chandi scripture, he reminds us that even the Trinity—Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva—pray to the Primal Energy when facing overwhelming chaos. The single-syllable mantra "Kling" becomes a powerful tool for devotees: "Kling Adya Shakti Mahamayay Namah." Gurudev emphasizes that collective prayer, like the Muslim Namaz where thousands gather, creates exponential spiritual strength. While he continues his solitary Havan rituals at Shantikunj, he urges communities everywhere to unite—setting up sacred pots (Ghats) and performing Durga Puja with Chandi Path and fire rituals. When science fails, spirituality remains the ultimate refuge.
