2026 Predictions: Hari Naam Sankirtan as the Only Refuge in Kali Yuga

Interviewer: I hope you are all doing well. Today, after a long time, you are seeing Gurudev on his channel. Due to his illness, he hasn't been able to appear for quite a while. We receive many messages from you asking how he is and why he isn't visible. It’s not that he is completely physically fit yet, but since many of you get anxious when you don’t hear from him, he is now in a condition where he can speak a little.

This video is quite simple. The New Year 2026 is approaching, and Gurudev wants to give you his blessings and a message for the coming year. Without wasting time, I will turn to Gurudev. Gurudev, your listeners and followers are watching you after a long time. As the year 2026 approaches, could you give a message to your disciples and devotees?

Gurudev: Yes. 2025 has passed, and the world—its people—have already endured a lot of loss and damage. Now comes 2026. I do not trust this year. I have no faith in it because so many things are going to happen that people cannot even imagine.

There won't be a clear "cause and effect" for every event. Things will just happen—a fire here, a shooting there, and so on. There will be no logical reason. These events will happen pointlessly, and they will affect innocent people—those who don't even believe what 2026 holds or those who choose to ignore the warnings.

In my opinion, 2026 is the "Year of War." War has already broken out in various parts of the world. Areas like Bangladesh and Pakistan are currently simmering with tension. A single spark is enough to set a country ablaze. Everyone is conscious of it and trying to prevent war, but this is about the Third World War. It will happen in '26. No one has the power to stop it. I cannot say exactly how massive the scale will be, but it will happen.

Interviewer: And what about a message of blessing?

Gurudev: We will always give our blessings because we are constantly working for the well-being of humanity—so that people stay healthy and understand these truths. We are always pleading at the feet of the Divine. No human has the power to stop this, so we are seeking refuge in God, praying that these tragedies do not occur. I don’t know if we can do anything, but I am trying from my end. I pray that we don’t have to hear such news or witness such sights. But I repeat: 2026 is a terrifying year. World War III is inevitable; it is already on the verge of starting. America, Russia—everyone is involved. We don't know who will fight whom or who will take whose side, but these things will gradually unfold.

Interviewer: And how will the common people fare?

Gurudev: People... how can they be well? If war breaks out, if something terrible happens, can people remain at peace? No. Stability will be lost. People will be displaced from one place to another. There will be no stability at all.

Interviewer: We just heard from Gurudev that 2026 will be a very volatile year, dominated by war and unrest. The situation does not look good. Despite that, for those of us living through it, we must try to live correctly and keep God in our hearts.

Gurudev: Exactly. There is only one path open, brother: walk the path of God. If something happens, perform Hari Naam Sankirtan (chanting the holy name).

Interviewer: I have heard Gurudev say many times that in this age of Kali Yuga, nothing can save us except the Holy Name.

Gurudev: Nothing but Hari Naam can save you. No rituals, no other prayers will suffice. Even God will not stay; He will leave this place because the atrocities committed by humans will be so great that even the Divine will flee. At that time, only one path will remain: Hari Naam Sankirtan.

Gurudev: I went to the doctor, and he strictly told me not to step out at least until February or March. He said, "I have saved your life with great difficulty. If you catch a cold now, I won't be able to do anything. I have used every medicine available on you; there is nothing left to give. Just stay cautious until February. If you survive until then, I can guarantee you another year of healthy life." That is why I am not leaving my room—only to avoid the cold.
