Narrator: (Sounds of a ritual conch shell blowing and bells ringing) (Chanting of Sanskrit mantras and prayers)
Guru Shyama Khyapa: Where have you come from? What is the purpose of your visit?
Devotee (Woman): I have come to see you, Baba. Since your health hasn't been well, I wanted to visit, and my daughter also really wanted to see you.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: So this is your daughter. What is your name, dear?
Daughter: Ihina Mukherjee.
Devotee (Woman): She is practicing law. She will be practicing at the High Court soon. She has completed about four and a half years of her studies, and in another year, it should be finished. Right? Yes, about a year and a half left. She is studying law and intends to practice at the High Court. She is putting in a lot of effort.
Daughter: I have received so much benefit and guidance from you. I feel like I have seen Lord Shiva himself in person; it is the greatest fortune of my life. The way I found you during my time of trouble... if you weren't there, I wouldn't have survived. It felt like whenever I was in tension or didn't know what to do, you were there with the solution. I have seen you many times in my dreams, wearing red clothes. When I first connected with you at Tarapith, I remember you asking me, \"So, you've come?\" exactly as I had seen in my dream. Your blessings have helped me immensely.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: Don't worry about the past. Just move forward. I don't like dwelling on those things or publicizing them. Do your work with your own effort. Just as your daughter is going to practice law, she must do it through her own hard work. There is no need to broadcast this to everyone.
Daughter: Yes, I agree. I try to follow your path. You always say not to publicize these matters, so I try to keep my devotion within my heart.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: That’s right. That is the way.
Devotee 2: Where are you from?
Guru Shyama Khyapa: I have come from Jamshedpur.
Devotee 2: What is your objective?
Guru Shyama Khyapa: Everyone says that. I consider myself a disciple of Bama Khepa. I worship him and do everything in his name. He is everything to me. I have reached this stage only because of him. I told Mother Tara that I live in an obscure village called Rajpur. There is a cremation ground there, and I have stayed there for 32 years. I have performed all my prayers and rituals there. I feel very connected to that place. Because my health has been poor, I haven't been able to go there lately, but I will return as soon as the weather gets warmer.
Narrator: Greetings, Gurudev. Today, many people have come from Tarapith to see you. Could you tell us a bit about it? I won't be able to describe it all in detail.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: Bapi Maharaj has come. He has never been to my house before, though he used to visit the cremation ground. Tenu and the others have also come. Everyone has visited before except for Bapi. It is good to see him here today; it has been a long time. I used to see them at Mohommoho. As you know, my health is not good right now. I can't do much or go anywhere. The doctors have strictly advised that I should not travel. In this condition, I just spend time in the prayer room occasionally. The prayer room is currently being renovated and rebuilt. That's not a big deal.
Bapi Maharaj: Namaskar. When my grandfather used to go to the Bhabatarini Shamshan Kali Ashram in Tarapith, he used to take me along. My grandmother used to scold him, asking why he was taking a child there. But I was stubborn and would always follow him. I remember the small pair of tongs (chimta) that were given to my grandfather from there. They aren't used now, but they are kept with Mother's idols. I tell everyone that although my grandfather is a bit unwell, he will recover soon. It is all Mother’s play. Mother’s children do not lose easily. I have learned from him that nothing will happen to him; he will be fine soon.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: It’s late now. When will you have lunch? It’s already 2 o’clock.
Narrator: Gurudev is talking with them now. I’ll end this recording here and share more in another video later. Greetings, Gurudev.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: Alright.
