Disciple (Dulal): Gurudev, my respects to you.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: My respects to you as well. Go ahead.
Disciple (Dulal): Several devotees have come from Siliguri to meet you. They have been here for the last four or five days. If you could say a few words to them...
Guru Shyama Khyapa: Actually, I was supposed to go there myself. But looking at the condition of the roads and the weather, I didn't feel confident about traveling. I really intended to go there. They held a large puja during Janmashtami and were expecting me. Anyway, I sent Pagla Baba to represent me. However, it seems they aren't fully satisfied unless I go myself—that's the issue. With the current weather and road conditions, how can I travel? Even the trains are uncertain right now. They visit once or twice a year, stay here, eat, offer their prayers to the Mother, and then head back. Among them are Jibon and Rakesh. They want to say something. Jibon, please speak. Tell us why you've come and how you feel after being here for five days.
Jibon: Greetings to my fellow brothers and Gurudev. Six of us took initiation (diksha) about a year ago during the lockdown. On that day, Gurudev told us that a spiritual center (kshetra) would be established in Siliguri. Today, we can feel that a center has already been formed there. Thousands of people are waiting for Gurudev. In these times, people are in search of a true Guru. Devotees from Bihar, Kishanganj, and even Nepal have come; they were initiated yesterday. I want to say that what we have received from Gurudev in this past year is beyond imagination. I don't have the words to describe it. The spiritual wealth he has given us with both hands is something we can never exhaust. I can say this with a guarantee. The brothers who came yesterday for initiation will soon realize the difference between a true Guru and others. Our lives have been blessed, and so will theirs. That is all I have to say.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: Well said. We have a player here, Rakesh Singh. He has played for Mohun Bagan and East Bengal in Kolkata. He has played on many grounds and is still playing. He is a very good boy. He took initiation from me last year during the lockdown. I'd like him to say a few words.
Rakesh: My respects, Gurudev. Since taking initiation, what we have received from Gurudev and the Mother is something we can never finish.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: Tell them where you have played.
Rakesh: I have played for Mohun Bagan, East Bengal, the Junior National team, the BSF Sporting Club, and in the Premier League. I am still playing. I just hope to keep playing well.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: I was so happy the day I heard you played for Mohun Bagan and East Bengal. My affection for you grew from that moment. Whenever you call, I talk about you or Jibon. You two are maintaining the Siliguri center. I will definitely visit; there is no doubt about that. Let the weather improve a bit, and I will go with Dulal. I am committed to visiting because so many people call me from there. It makes me very happy.
Rakesh: Many people are waiting for you, Gurudev. They keep asking when you are coming.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: Does anyone else want to say anything?
Disciple (Dulal): I'd like to say something. The general public might not understand the miracles we see. Even without seeing Gurudev in person, people's problems are being solved just by mentioning them to him. What can you say about that, Dulal-da?
Guru Shyama Khyapa: Just mentioning it to me is enough. There is no need to come here in person. Just let me know what is happening, and I will handle it from here by praying to the Mother.
Disciple (Dulal): But sometimes things get resolved even before we tell you. Why does that happen? We can't explain it to others. If we call you, we find you right there. Many new devotees come to us and ask for help, which is why we brought them here.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: I will go there and give initiation to whoever I can.
Disciple (Dulal): People have said that just by looking at Gurudev's photo for ten minutes, their problems are solved. Ordinary people don't understand this. I've noticed over the last four days at the temple that people lack faith. That is the main problem. People don't realize that everything they need is already within them. It's like the musk deer that wanders looking for the scent of musk, not realizing the scent comes from its own body.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: Exactly.
Disciple (Dulal): I see the same thing here. People come and ask for this or that, but the solution starts from home once you connect with Gurudev. You don't even have to call him.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: That's right.
Disciple (Dulal): Jibon, I've told Gurudev many times that I bow before your devotion. If such devotion exists, why wouldn't things happen? I seek answers from Gurudev, but he doesn't say much. However, I see the results through you. Whatever you pray for happens. I personally respect your devotion deeply.
Jibon: Where there is devotion, there is victory. That is my belief.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: It's true. In the beginning, people don't understand. They only come to me when they want something. They ask for blessings or for specific need to be met. I give what I can in the name of the Mother, and they get better. I don't take any money for this; not a single penny. People think that if I give them something physical, they will get better. But I tell you, the moment you tell me your problem, the process of healing begins. For example, when Puja Singh was admitted to the hospital, Rakesh called me. That was enough. Soon after, she was fine and returned home. People can't always grasp this, but those who come to us and even just touch us will find their purpose fulfilled.
Disciple (Dulal): I want to share one more thing. When the devotees from Siliguri were about to come, the temple was flooded with water. I informed Gurudev about the situation and asked what should be done. He simply said, "Let them come." He didn't say anything else. By the time they arrived, the temple was completely dry, just like before.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: That is also true. Let things proceed as they are. Does anyone else want to speak?
Devotee: My respects, Gurudev. It has been a year since my initiation. Since leaving here, it feels like a new life has begun. Nothing stops me anymore.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: Why would anything stop you?
Devotee: We can't even believe the level we are reaching. You have given us a "wealth" that most people don't understand. People might think you gave us money, but money can only buy comfort—it cannot buy peace. We are at great peace now. We don't have to worry about anything. We don't even know how things get done, but they do.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: It is all the Mother's grace. I constantly talk to the Mother about those I have initiated. I have given your phone numbers to people from Siliguri so they can contact you for guidance. I was supposed to go, but I couldn't. I will go in the future. Many people told me not to go right now, but I feel a great need to be there.
Disciple (Dulal): Friends, our hearts are heavy because our brothers are leaving today. Please pray that they and Gurudev remain well. With this, we conclude today's program. My respects, Gurudev.
Guru Shyama Khyapa: My blessings to you all.
