Devotee:
Today, I would like to hear from you about meteor showers and the "blood moon." These are celestial events. If we could learn more from you, it would be wonderful. Please go on.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Well, common people don't really know, but the current positions of the planets are very, very poor. Planets are repeatedly going retrograde. This is not a good sign for us; it is a very bad omen. Over the last few full moons, we haven't received the usual moonlight. Instead, we've seen a crimson-red moon. Even then, I said that when a red moon appears in the sky, it is a sign of an impending cataclysm. Something will happen, and many people will die.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
The rule of the blood moon is simple: when it appears, we say people will die. You noticed that before COVID, during every full moon, we didn't get clear moonlight—it was a deep red moon. Even then, we assumed a catastrophe was coming. We observe many celestial phenomena; the universe is witnessing terrifying events. Look at these consecutive meteor showers. There is also a deep connection between the heavens and the earth.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Look at the frequent earthquakes. Do you know why these earthquakes occur? You asked how the earth and sky are connected. It's because the tides are influenced by the moon's gravity—this is scientifically proven. It is not outside the realm of science. However, when a "destructive star" (Ghatak Nakshatra) enters the moon's path—we call it that when it touches the moon—and since the moon is round, if a bad star touches it, it has been observed that earthquakes follow.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
The closer a celestial body comes to the moon, the more concerned we become. We observe the moon or the sky every night. We see many small meteorites falling, but what will be visible starting today is a meteoroid from 6,800 years ago that was orbiting in space. Now, it will be visible to the naked eye.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
This is not a good sign. According to ancient Puranas, one should not watch meteor showers. In the past, if someone saw a meteor, they would have to chant the name of Goddess Durga a thousand times. When we were young, if anyone saw a meteor, they would chant Durga's name repeatedly. This is the tradition.
Devotee:
I have even seen people chanting the names of various flowers.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
There are many such beliefs, but Durga's name is the primary one. When someone sees a meteor shower, they must chant Durga's name because it is considered a sign of misfortune. Every sign of misfortune is now manifesting. One thing currently happening—what can I say—three things are happening simultaneously. There is a huge connection with the heavens.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
There is a major link between the moon and earthquakes. When we see such stars near the moon, we can predict that an earthquake is imminent somewhere or other. Depending on which side of the moon the star is on, we can even predict the direction of the earthquake. I have tested this many times, and it has proven correct.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
When there is a full moon and a star is flickering right against it, you have to observe very carefully. It's hard to see with the naked eye, so a telescope is better. At those times, we can say with certainty that an earthquake is coming. And whenever we see a red moon, we can say there will be a bloody conflict or a high death toll.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
We are now experiencing divine trials—storms, lightning, and earthquakes. These are all divine acts that we are enduring. This will continue. Since it's a celestial cycle, it will persist. There will be frequent earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and terrifying blizzards. There will be severe storms and rain—these are all signs of cataclysm.
Devotee:
Is this all happening because of the blood moon and the meteor showers?
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Yes, meteor showers are also related. Jupiter (Brihaspati) acts as a shield for our Earth. Most meteorites are pulled in by Jupiter's gravity. Occasionally, if Jupiter cannot catch one, it falls toward Earth. If a large meteorite hits Earth, half the planet—or even all of it—could be destroyed. Some large meteors recently passed by at a distance of 3.5 million kilometers. Some thought if they hit, the world would end. Fortunately, they passed by. But the meteors currently circulating—all of which broke off from the sun—are appearing again after many years. They likely won't hit Earth but will pass very close. Still, people will see them with the naked eye.
Devotee:
This meteor shower happening now last occurred 6,800 years ago. My question is, occurring after such a long time during such a difficult period for Earth, does it signal a great danger?
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
It is indeed a sign of danger. Look at the events happening one after another. I'm saying volcanoes will erupt, and wildfires will burn. Look at how many wildfires are already burning; they've started in many places. Frequent earthquakes will occur daily. Volcanoes will wake up. There will be terrifying storms and both excessive rain and droughts.
Devotee:
And there is the pandemic as well.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
The pandemic is ongoing. We don't know what else is coming. Seeing all this, it feels like a cataclysm is imminent. Scientists are also repeatedly warning of a major earthquake. I said this about eight months ago—that a massive earthquake, perhaps 8 or 9 on the Richter scale, is coming, and nothing will be left. I predicted this long ago. That time has now begun. Look at the floods in China yesterday. Then there was a 5.7 magnitude earthquake that destroyed many homes. If this continues, it will be difficult. We are suffering through three things at once: earthquakes, the pandemic, and celestial omens.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
The gods are displeased. This is what we call divine wrath. People have to endure this.
Devotee:
Does this mean we are suffering the consequences of the injustices and sins committed on Earth?
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Well, everyone says the world is filled with sin. None of us have the power to judge sin and virtue. We don't know exactly what sins or virtues have been recorded, but we are suffering the consequences. People commit sins unknowingly—some for survival, some for their families, some to grow their businesses. It's hard to say what is truly a sin or a virtue. But one thing is clear: these are bad omens. This is a punishment for sin that humanity is receiving. It is divine. As I said before, the gods are angry, and nature has become completely restless. There is a profound connection between the heavens and our Earth now. It's like a lightning strike—it comes from the sky but hits the ground.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
It is very unfortunate. I shouldn't say it, but I am afraid. I am very afraid.
Devotee:
Are you afraid of today's meteor shower as well?
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
It's natural. These are not good signs. Every one of them is a bad sign. I've seen in the past that if there was a meteor shower, people would chant Durga's name a thousand times. I saw this in my childhood. My parents would tell me to chant her name and not to look at the meteors because they were a bad omen.
Devotee:
Hearing this from you, it feels like a dire warning is upon us.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
It is the truth. I have been saying this for a long time—not just once, but many times. It feels like everything is closing in. Scientists are predicting a massive earthquake. They say the death toll will be much higher than people imagine. No one knows where the big one will hit. We cannot predict it exactly, but the moon gives us signs.
Devotee:
That is why you are mentioning the blood moon.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
We have seen the blood moon several times this year. During the full moons, we didn't see the usual light; we saw a blood moon. This brings great fear. Will more people die? So many have already died. They say about 200 million people might die. This is terrifying. How will so many people perish? It will drive people mad. The way things are going, people will become psychiatric patients just by witnessing these events.
Devotee:
They already are. Many are seeking psychiatric help.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Yes, people are becoming mentally unstable. And the divine trials that have begun—they weren't there before, but they have started now.
Devotee:
Gurudev, for great spiritual individuals like you...
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
There is no use in being "great." This will happen. I gave warnings many times—eight months ago, five months ago—that something terrifying is coming, something so bad that people won't even touch the bodies of the dead in the streets. We are seeing that now.
Devotee:
I have one request. We see that "hom-jajog" (sacrificial rituals) are frequently performed at your temple for world peace.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Even through those, I am not seeing much of a result. I thought by performing these rituals, the world might find some peace, but the world remains completely restless.
Devotee:
Still, if you could offer a prayer...
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
I am praying every moment before the Mother (Goddess). What else can I do? My spiritual practices are complete; I am just waiting now. It's like being retired from a job. I sit by the Mother, talk to her, and cry, hoping she might stabilize things a little.
