Start now. Om Hum Joom Sah! Om Trayambakam Yajamahe Sugandhim Pushti-Vardhanam, Urvarukamiva Bandhanan Mrityor Mukshiya Mamritat. Svaha! Om. To the Supreme Lord. To the one who resides in the hearts of all. For the sake of longevity, for the sake of prosperity, we offer this. May all planetary disturbances be pacified. Svaha!
Priest:
Salutations to the Guru (Teacher). You who reveal the light of Brahman. You who remove the sorrows of this world. Salutations to the protector of the clan. (Chanting the Guru Stotra, praising the spiritual teacher.)
Priest:
To the five-faced Lord Shiva, Svaha! To the eight-formed Lord, Svaha!
Participant:
Subho, move back a little. Bring the water glass closer.
Priest:
Om Hrim. To the Divine Mother, the source of all power. Protect us, O Durga! Svaha!

On this auspicious day, in the month of Shravana, under the Karkata (Cancer) zodiac sign... we perform this sacrifice for the devotee Surya Kant Deva Sharma. (The priest recites the "Sankalpa" or specific intention, naming the participant and the astrological timing.)
