Narrator:
(Spiritual music and Om chanting in the background) You are watching the Shantikunj Guru Dev’s ashram on the Gupta Sadhok Shyama Khyapa YouTube channel. Today, devotees are present here, and they are receiving the Mother’s prasad. Now, we have entered the main courtyard of the Mother’s temple. This is the sacrificial altar (Yajna Vedi) where a thousand-day Maha Mrityunjaya Yajna was held. Every day, a Yajna is performed here in front of the Mother for world peace and human welfare. Today at Shantikunj, Guru Dev's devotees have arrived.
Interviewer:
What is your name?
Sayoni Seal:
Sayoni Seal.
Interviewer:
I see Gopal Thakur sitting beside you. You brought him here?
Sayoni Seal:
Yes.
Interviewer:
You are a great devotee of Gopal, aren't you?
Sayoni Seal:
Yes.
Interviewer:
Tell us something about your Gopal Thakur.
Sayoni Seal:
He stays with me. He came to me on his own. He eats, moves, and sleeps with me.
Interviewer:
Anything else?
Sayoni Seal:
And he is a little naughty sometimes!
Interviewer:
He came to Shantikunj with you today to see the Mother?
Sayoni Seal:
Yes, he has been here before. Since then, he insists on coming back again and again. He was with the Mother just now, talking to her.
Interviewer:
Do you tell him those things?
Sayoni Seal:
He was there, playing and talking. He knows what he was doing.
Interviewer:
Doesn't he say anything to you?
Sayoni Seal:
He talks to me, plays pranks, and asks me to bring him here.
Narrator:
Now we will go to Guru Dev.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Sayoni has come all the way from Michael Nagar. Don’t even ask—she’s made me go crazy! She came one day with Krishna, dressed him up, and sat him here. Since then, she won't leave him, and Krishna won't leave her! He keeps pestering her, saying, \"Take me there, take me there.\" I don't know if she told her parents, but she says she did. She came all alone from so far away because Gopal was insisting. He woke up early this morning and insisted on coming. What can I say?
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Now look at her, she’s sitting right next to me. But she didn't bring Gopal in her arms this time. Gopal is inside; he ate, spent time with the Mother, and now she has brought him out. This is the second or third time this has happened. Gopal doesn't like staying at home anymore.
Sayoni Seal:
He is very naughty at home. He doesn't do anything to the Mother, but all his naughtiness is reserved for me!
Interviewer:
Guru Dev, I want to ask you something regarding this. You mentioned that in your experience, you see a young group of people—boys and girls alike—turning towards God and spirituality. This is a positive sign for spiritual India. What are your thoughts on this?
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Actually, I used to have a bit of a conflict with Gopal. To be honest, I was a bit annoyed because my father used to worship Gopal. After my father passed away, I was a bit upset with him. But later, I realized I was wrong. Then I started my own devotion to Gopal. Now, he [Gopal] is pestering her, as I said. I can't explain it scientifically, but it’s happening. She’s a young girl and she respects and loves me. She comes here alone sometimes, and sometimes she brings Gopal. When Gopal insists, there's no stopping her.
Sayoni Seal:
He doesn't show up in my dreams or anything; it’s just a pull from the heart, a feeling. I see her talking to him, petting him, and showing him affection.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
He was kept in the Mother’s room for a long time. Since the Mother is here, Krishna—who is an original power (Adi Shakti)—is also here. He is here in full presence. What else can I say?
Interviewer:
Could you say a few words about this trend? Young people are embracing these traditions, which is the heritage of Sanatan India.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
You’re right. People coming here since morning are mostly between 25 and 30 years old. They all ask the same thing: \"When will you give me initiation (Diksha)?\" Every single day, people come for initiation. I see an awakening regarding God. I tell them, \"You are 25, why take initiation now? This is your time to work.\" But they won't listen. I have to give initiation to 5-10 people every day. It’s overwhelming.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Back in the day, Balak Brahmachari gave initiation to nearly 3 crore people. His method was different; he would just whisper in the ear. In my case, I have to sit with them, touch their Mooladhara, Swadhisthana, and awaken the Kula Kundalini. It takes about 15-20 minutes per person. One thing is clear: an awakening has begun. When the youth starts seeking God and calls start coming in from everywhere asking for Diksha, it shows that people have regained faith in God. This is very good for us.
Narrator:
So friends, you heard from Guru Dev at Shantikunj. Today’s special guest, Gopal Thakur, came all the way from Michael Nagar to spend time with the Mother.
Interviewer:
Guru Dev, our respects to you.
Guru Shyama Khyapa:
Blessings to you, son.
