Speaker 1:
Dear viewers, there is a special reason for the havan occurring here today.
Speaker 1:
Three years ago, the 'Mahamrityunjaya Yajna' was performed here for a thousand days. The Yajna ended on the 17th of June 2018. To celebrate the completion of the Yajna, a one-year anniversary is being celebrated today. Many people are present here today, including high-level dignitaries, devotees, and priests. I was asked to record this by one of Gurudev's disciples, Mr. Partha Bhattacharya. I am recording this with his and Gurudev's permission. Devotees and our Gurudev are present here. We can see a lot of people here; they have come from far away to participate in the havan. You can also see people performing the last rites and cremating the bodies in the river. This is because this place is a crematorium.
Speaker 1:
Today is the one-year anniversary of the 'Mahamrityunjaya Yajna,' which ended on the 17th of June 2018. This recording is being made on Partha Da's mobile.
Speaker 1:
Gurudev, please say something. Today marks the completion of one year since the 'Mahamrityunjaya Yajna' took place.
Gurudev:
Yes, the 'Mahamrityunjaya Yajna' happened after many years. It is a big celebration for us. People from various places have come here today. The havan and the worship of the Goddess will continue throughout the day and night. Today is a very important day for us. This is why we are celebrating.
Gurudev:
As you know, the 'Mahamrityunjaya Yajna' was performed here for a thousand days. It wasn't easy, but the Goddess made it possible. It was performed by the grace of Lord Shiva. You won't find many such instances in history. Sage Bashistha performed it in Kashi, and after him, history will remember it was performed by Gurudev here for a thousand days. Three or four people participated in the havan at a time. We don't even know from where the wood and ghee were sourced. Gurudev is the only person after Sage Bashistha to have performed the 'Mahamrityunjaya Yajna' for a thousand days.
Gurudev:
The Yajna ended on Wednesday, the 17th of June 2018. Today is Sunday, the 17th of June, three years later. From now on, we will celebrate the anniversary of the Yajna's completion every year.
Speaker 1:
It's not my wish; it's their wish. They are celebrating it with great joy. I will be here as long as the havan and the prayers are on. My disciples have come here. The worship of the Goddess is being performed by three priests. One is from Midnapore, another from Ghughudanga, and the third from Behala. They are performing the havan and the prayers together.
Female Speaker:
It is a matter of great joy for us. Gurudev performed the 'Mahamrityunjaya Yajna' according to the Vedas. He allowed the women to participate in the havan. We consider it our good fortune to have been able to participate in the havan. Even today, we are participating in it. It is our good fortune to have been able to participate in the 'Mahamrityunjaya Yajna.'
Female Speaker:
Today, Gurudev is free from all superstitions. He is a great devotee. We got the opportunity to sit in the havan kund. The women were given the opportunity to participate. We will remember this joy as long as we live. I have never seen women participating in the 'Mahamrityunjaya Yajna' like this. Gurudev made it possible for us. We will always remember this day.
Speaker 1:
Partha Da, you are here. What would you like to say?
Partha Da:
I agree with everyone. Gargi Di, Gurudev, and Pradip Da have said it all. God himself is present here. Nothing can be better than this.
Speaker 1:
Pranam, Gurudev.
Gurudev:
Pranam.
